Playing in my first Roto league, any difference I should take into consideration when drafting my team as opposed to H2H leagues?

Play in a turnover league.

Health matters a ton. Guys who stay healthy are more valuable. More Joe Johnson and less Manu Ginobili.

In H2H you need a full roster of productive players. In Roto you can afford to gamble more on upside. Remember, you have 82 (well, 66) games to use, but you don't have to use them at once. You could wait a third of a season on someone to develop / someone to break out on FA. Don't just play a mediocre player because you think you don't have a choice.

Guys who don't kill you are significantly more valuable. Don't draft guys who are flat-out terrible in any one category.

Staying away from category killers is important. It takes a hell of a strategy to win a roto league with Dwight Howard.
