Right now I have Felton but Jack can be had. (Rotisserie 9cat league).
Jack is getting 3.5 more PPG and 1 more APG. He is also a better FT shooter. Felton, however, will give me more 3's over the course of the season.
How much will Gordon's return to health affect the numbers Jack is putting up? Is it enough to assume Felton as the safer play?

Not much. His points will definitely go down though. I see no way he can keep his overall numbers up for a whole season. The reason for that is not Gordon but Jack himself.
Felton on the other hand is only going to get better. He's new to the team and has shown great flashes, getting to the cup at will. His turnovers will go down, PPG will definitely go up with better 3pt shooting, and APG should also go up a little. I expect 14.5/3.5/7.5 out of Felton w/ 1.0 threes.
I think the Hornets will eventually get another PG. If not, I still don't see Jack being better than 14/3.5/7 w/ 0.8 threes.

Re: Long Term: Felton or Jack?
At least at this point I would rather have Jarret Jack than Felton. Felton has historically been a bad FG% type of guy. He'll kill your FG%. Don't forget Felton's stats were heavily inflated last year cause he played on the Knicks with D'Antoni as a coach. For a better reference I'd look at his Bobcat days if you want to see what type of production you'll get from him.
I just like Jack more as of now cause 1) he's the only PG getting major burn on the Hornets. (they have Grevis Vasquez (or however you spell his name) but he barely can sniff the court. and 2) Eric Gordon returning will only increase Jack's assists numbers. And when Gordon gets injured again (very likely based on his resume), Jack's points will go up again.
In my opinion, I'd go Jack. (any chance you can just have both of them? I have both of them in one league. lol)
