Considering which trade to make.

Post#1 » by IRS » Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:33 pm

So I am in a 10 team, 8 cat H2H league (10 starting, 4 bench). My team is as follows:

Deron Williams
Tony Parker
Jason Kidd
Iman Shumpert
Ricky Rubio

Kevin Martin
S-Jax
Danny Granger
James Johnson
Jason Richardson

Nene
Kris Hump
K-Love
Marcin Gortat

So after 2 weeks and change, my main weak categories are blocks, fg%, and to a lesser extent, ft% (which should change, guys are just missing, with low volume).

So now I have a couple of trade offers on the table:

1) My Kevin Martin for Tyson Chandler.
2) My Tony Parker and Jason Richardson for Andrew Bogut, maybe with another bit player.

So which trade should I pursue? Also, what types of players should I target and who from my team should I look to move.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't do trade 1. I still think Kmart will bounce back.
Trade two is a good trade for you.

You can also explore a DeAndre Jordan for Kidd or Tony Parker deal.

I'd make the second trade as well. You can afford to give up Parker with your other PG's and Richardson's been up and down so far. Bogut will be nice since Love and Hump don't get a ton of blocked shots. I think giving up Martin for Chandler's way too much

wouldn't do either. 2 weeks is a meaningless sample size. both trades would be very short-sighted imo. don't sell low

martin for chandler is close... but id rather keep martin and shop s-jax. granger will bounc eback. so will martin, although his low FTA is extremely worrisome in combination with the new NBArule (i.e. no cheap free throws w/ thatstupid swing through move).
