Semi-OT: Amir Johnson fantasy basketball

Post#1 » by #9 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 7:25 am

Just wondering why I logged to my fantasy league and saw that more than 2000 teams dropped him. I checked to see if he's injured but he's not. Is he in a slump? Or an internal conflict with Coach Casey (as I can tell from his playing time)?

Hes been slumping and Casey nailed him to the bench today. Some people think Gray is gonna
replace him in the starting lineup soon.

I think he's just missing some defensive assignments and getting a quick pull. I have a feeling that all those minutes are taking a toll on his body. Can't wait for Bargs to get back.

I stopped watching the Raptors as soon Bargs got injured. It's painful enough as it is. However, it's kinda :o to see Amir Johnson slumping, when no one on our team is close to being a good rebounder as he is. To say the least... When will Bargs be back? I thought he'd be back by last Friday

Amir has got to sit out abit and let his hand heal. But being the warrior that he is, he's playing through. I still think his leg problem from last year is playing a factor.

He gave no effort today and got pulled.

Amir did not want to play, maybe being back home, someone got in his ear.

How can you say "our team" when you stopped watching the Raptors weeks ago and didn't know what was going on with Amir? I mean... sorry, but... really?

Was it no effort or did he just get badly outplayed by the far more athletic Jordan?

I have been super busy with work the last 2 weeks and all I keep hearing are injuries piling up :(

I hope they aren't serious, but I'm also all for tanking this season for a better pick.
