Ryan Anderson for Mike Conley?

Post#1 » by aaa » Mon Jan 23, 2012 6:19 am

I'm punting points and 3's this year, and I have Ryan Anderson on my team. It's a 10 team, H2H league. PTS, 3PTs, FT%, FG%, OREBS, DREBS, AST, STL, BLK.

I have the chance to swap Ryan Anderson for Mike Conley. Am I getting enough value back? Anderson is the 12th best player on the season in my league's scoring, Conley is around 25 but can help me in areas of need. Should I make this trade?

Yes. Both guys are overrated right now. Conley's value is not far of a dropoff from Anderson. Conley would help your team more than Anderson. I'd also do the trade because I can't see Anderson sustaining his hot shooting till the season ends. Whereas Conley, he has the talent and opportunity (more touches without Zach), to sustain his performance.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

tbh, I like Ryan Anderson a LOT more than Conley. Yes Ryan may not be able to sustain his 3 threes per game but he'll at least end the season off with 2.0-2.5 threes per game. Plus he hits FT% at a high clip (as opposed to Conley) and he can actually save your Turnovers (in leagues that count them). Conley is good but if you're going to trade Ryan for a PG you can do a little better. Especially for how inflated Anderson's value is right now.

And why are you aiming to punt so early in the season? You're in an H2H league you should look for a balanced team until the trade deadline...

Conley's ranked low because of his slow start and injuries. The guy has been playing really well lately getting you points, assists, steals, threes. Depends on your teams needs whether or not you do the trade.

conley is significantly > than anderson cuz this league doesn't count TOs

conley is legit

anderson's value would fall if d12 got traded

and in general he's gonna cool off
