Ariza, Kemba, B.Gordon, or B. Davis

Post#1 » by Cody42 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 2:48 am

who should I pick up. I play in a 10 man league with no FG% or TO

And should I drop Dalembert or Hawes. I have far too many big men so one of them have to go. It seems like no one is willing to trade so that isnt much of an option.

You need a new league, first and foremost.

But under the circumstances I'd recommend Kemba.

Dont drop Hawes and Dalembert for them. They have far more value than the guys you mentioned.

Ariza, Gordon, Baron then Kemba. In that order. Ariza over Gordon because Ariza can contribute in multiple cats unlike Gordon. Gordon over Baron because Gordon has shown he can get minutes and shot attempts. While Baron is still a risky choice. Baron over Kemba because Mike D'Antoni has good history with PGs while Kemba is still inconsistent.

dropping hawes is dumb

b davis' value is tremendously overstated imo. i'll believe it when i see it. yes, he's worth rostering to see what happens, but dont be surprised if he turns out to be nearly worthless

kemba is the guy you want w/ augustin out for the next 4 games

Yeah, B. Davis is still a high injury risk. He's still not even in good physical shape yet on top of the injury, therefore his minutes will be limited, though a desperately needed for that KNICK offense.

Go with Ariza, his numbers in cats are sound verses Kemba, i.e. TO's are a concern here.

the thing is he doesn't even fit what the knicks need. he's not a 3-point shooter, he's a 3-point chucker. he's ball-dominant, which is obv bad news when amare/melo on da team. he's not a rugged defender. and like the above poster said he's out of shape.

You guys dont understand I have no need to keep dally or hawes. Really i could get rid of both if i wanted to. I am going to win REB and Blocks with my team every week. Why should it matter if I win by 100 rebs or 75? I need help in other areas and no one will trade.

I know its a super weird format but it makes things interesting and challenging because you can't use all the websites/articles rankings.
