Eric Gordon!

Post#1 » by jdubb_00 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 7:32 pm

Does anyone know what he may be out with! They say a bruised knee and are resting him but it's been rumored that he may have a fractured kneecap (which seems bogus because I haven't seen any contact with his knee which may have done that).

Owning Eric has been a headache...does anyone else have any other news on him or even thoughts on what it could be! Or could this all be done as a safety precaution and he will play asap!

Thanks, a frustrated owner!

Gordon has been out since Dec. 28th with the knee bruise. Later that month, the SUNS hinted at a pre-existing condition with Gordon's knee. Gordon never suffered a knee injury with the Clippers. It usually takes several months for a knee bruise to fully heal. He's been on OUT again since Jan. 6th and they have just added another 3 weeks that he won't play. That timeline is about right for a full recovery, but the Hornet's and/ or David Stern haven't signed off on a contract extention.

Ummmm? To me that sounds kinda interesting.

I think the dollars on the Hornet's contract extention, if offered, will say how much Gordon's knee is worth and if a injury risk.

injury update-Gordon has NO structural damage in the knee. FULL recovery expected with 3 weeks REST, then Gordon's knee should be 100%! NOTE: Gordon has got to get the REST to be back at 100%

That's what I heard. I think it's also the only "estimated time" out there right now...

He was my 3rd pick (21st overall) and luckily I'm still 3-0-1 without him in my 10-team, 9-cat league. I think I could've legitimately gone undefeated for the season if he had remained healthy.
