Just Drafted. Tough Draft. No "Sexy" Names. How Did I Do?

Just drafted my team.
I had the 13th pick I wanted Iriving but he went, so I had to scramble with my 1st two picks.

14 Team League H2H
FGM FGA* FG% FTM FTA* FT% 3PTM 3PTA* 3PT% PTS REB AST ST BLK TO PF

I didn't go with any big "sexy names", and had the 13th pick hoping my players collectively can add a big punch.

not bad all things considered. 14 teams is fuc*ing brytal man. My league went from 10 to 12 and im pissed about that, ESPECIALLY this year when you have sooo many 1st-2nd round picks with big injurys and/or injury concerns. Not looking forwards to this draft at all

I know this yr is a very tricky draft with a lot of big names having injury concerns.. ie: Love, Dirk, Rose, Rubio, Bynum, Wade. Personally, I'd stay away from these guys cause they won't be good to you on the IR.

Bad.

You don't have guys who can carry your team in assists, points, 3pts, and blocks. You have too many rebounders on your team. My suggestion is to trade Asik and Okafor to atleast have another category where you can win (FT%). Then punt shotblocking.

Your league is really weird, and definitely game-able.

9 out of 16 categories is about shooting volume and efficiency, which means that if you have efficient high volume scorers, you win the league, hands down. Basically if your team is made up of chris bosh, you will win.

Example of what will win your league:
Steph Curry
Wes Matthews
James Harden
Chris Bosh
Andrea Bargnani
Ryan Anderson
Ersan Ilyasova
Klay Thompson

I'd imagine you'd win T/O PF categories at times too.

These players shouldnt be owned in a 14 team league IMO:

BN Jason Kidd (fringe)
BN Marco Belinelli
BN John Lucas

Well what I've noticed in my league if your team is constantly winning TO's/PF's the team usually isn't very good.
