5th pick: Westbrook, D wade, D will

5th pick in a 10 person h2h league. Categories are normal . we are counting to's.

These were my 3 top choices. Which one would you go with.

I was 5th pick as well and had the same problem. I went D-Will with Westbrook being my backup choice.

I took Josh Smith 5th overall after the draft started Lebron, Durant, Paul, Westbrook. 10 team 9 cat roto. Wade went 6th and D-Will went 7th.

Out of those three I probably would have gone Westbrook. Wade is going to be the highest ranked at the end of the year but those missed games scare me too much.

I do think Westbrook and especially D-Will are overrated. Williams' rankings the last 3 years in 9 cat are 39, 24 and 22. Westbrook's rankings the last two years are 18 and 26. Westbrook will probably continue to improve so I'm fine with him in the first, but D-Will is overdrafted every single year. Unless you think D-Will is in for a pretty significant jump this year, you'll get bad value on that pick.

I'd much rather take guys like Al or LMA or even Smoove in the first as they've actually put up first round value before.
