Trade for LBJ! Pls help

Post#1 » by nbaallstr5 » Sat Dec 1, 2012 9:51 pm

My players that are going:

George Hill
O.J. Mayo
Tim Duncan

Players that I will get:

LeBron James
J.R. Smith
Shawn Marion

My team:

George Hill
O.J. Mayo
Wesley Matthews
Thaddeus Young
Al Horford
Pau Gasol
Tim Duncan
Patrick Patterson
Goran Dragic
Tyreke Evans

If I do this trade I will only have one PG Goran Dragic left. But to get LBJ should I still continue and do this trade? It's a 14 team league with 9 cats. I'm in first place and I think I can win the season without LBJ but it's keepers league and will love to have LBJ for next few years.

LeBron plus some in a keeper for George Hill, old Duncan and OJ Mayo? Why has this not been accepted?

You actually gain assists in this trade.

if u are seeing this as long term, then yes.
If not, then no. George hill and OJ is on fire this season. These two guys will give you similar results to LBJ and JR.
Tim duncan is waay better than marion. But since you want to hold on to LBJ next season, then do it. He's the only player that will give you similar results next season.

It went through. Got LBJ and yes it definitely is a long term move. I do miss Hill and OJ because they are putting up stats this year and even Duncan has been amazing all season for me.

No way will George Hill and OJ give you even close to the amount of value as LBJ by himself. OJ is third round value right now (without Dirk) and Hill is 5th. LeBron by himself is worth all three in a redraft (I'd rather keep LeBron). LeBron + goodies in a keeper is just ridiculous.

I was laughing when I saw it go through and he just gave me a tripe double in his first game for me. Now I'm trying to get Dirk for Tyreke from the same guy who has an empty spot at SG.

Damn! Congrats! This is a win on so many levels cause it's a keeper league. Duncan is killing it now but I believe his minutes will become less and less later in the season. And he probably won't keep it up next few years. I love the trade!
