Jarret Jack

Post#1 » by bballcool34 » Thu Jan 10, 2013 5:33 am

Points league, he's coming off a, by all indications, minor elbow injury and isn't playing that much (but may even be healthy at this point), his minutes were sporadic earlier in the year as well though and Jackson's rotations are susceptible to change, is he a guy I should hold onto for a bit and wait/see, or just play the wire with him?

Edit: Got 25 minutes tonight against Memphis, but played terribly, not sure if I should hold onto him

Depends on who is available and what need does he provide your team. I wouldn't drop him just to add any other warm body.

There are always guys to plug in on the waiver wire for individual games, but no one I want to keep (example: Nate Robinson has been on a bit of a hot streak and exploded today with Hinrich out that I was considering plugging in for a game, Derrick Williams maybe since he's been playing well, Tiago since he's gotten minutes lately, basically a bunch of guys who I can plug in/out of my team since I have 7 transactions a week in my head to head league and a couple extra games to fill).

What's he point of having 7 transactions a week?

That is ridiculous

My league has 12 for the entire year

With 7 trans. you could stream two roster spots simultaneously

I fail to see the point in having 12 for the entire year

It forces you to draft well and makes your moves count.

It makes for a competitive league and not a NBA Jam version of a fantasy league
