I was offered Dudley for Pek

Post#1 » by smooveroots » Wed Jan 23, 2013 3:02 am

9 Cat, H2H yahoo 12 team league... I think Dudley is nice and he does give you some goodies but I feel I need more for Pek especially now that Love is out. Pek is due back this Friday or Saturday.

My team is in the signature.... I know you might think I have enough bigs but in my league we start two centres...

Any suggestions?

His Roster

Tony Parker
Avery Bradley
Jeremy Lin
Kawhi Leonard
Carlos Boozer
Kosta Koufos
Kevin Garnett
Marc Gasol
J.R. Smith
Derrick Favors
Ray Allen
Jared Dudley
LeBron James

Isn't Pek not back until at least next week?

Anyway, no way you make that trade. I've been getting offers for Pek too but he's valuable as a scorer and rebounder who also puts up great efficiency numbers.

This is close. It's easy to hand-waive Dudley's production away, thinking it is easily replaceable, but it's actually not. He's what, t50 the past month?

I agree with this. To the casual fantasy fan, dudley might seem like an easily replaceable swing man, but this sesaon he has played surprisingly efficiently, while still hitting all cats with solid numbers. The suns have yet to play a game under new coach, hunter. so id wait to see how his rotations benefit/hinder dudley while pek is still out with injury.

Pek has a perfect playoff sched. Dudley has the worst possible playoff sched. That makes a big difference. I like both guys and I think they're pretty close but the playoff sched difference is big enough where I feel real comfortable taking Pek.

With this in mind Pek turns into a clear winner.

(I don't play H2H so I don't know playoff schedules.)
