Lillard for Reddick

Post#1 » by WhiteMambaLol » Mon Jan 28, 2013 4:29 pm

I have Lillard, was offered Reddick.

10 cats (the standard ones, but 3pt% instead of 3p made, and personal fouls is a cat), H2H, Yahoo, 10 teams

Lillard has not been fantasy friendly. Besides good points and assists, his percentages are low and turnovers are high. Reddick has been very good lately.

I need help with this. Will it take another year or two for Lillard to become more efficient? Is Reddick going to keep playing big minutes and stay close to 46% fg?

Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

If this is a keeper League then the answer is NO

you mentioned Lilliard possibly being more efficient in a year or 2 so I wasnt sure.

I would stick with Lilaird, he plays heavy minutes with no chance of losing his spot

Reddick is good but he is also a possible trade candidate

3PT% instead of 3PM makes Reddick godly in this format. Reddick by a mile. Ranks 41st in these settings, Lillard 108th.

Ya I think you are right. I want to trade Lillard, but do you think I should try to get a pg in return? I am always losing assists, partly because with Rose out I only have Lillard and Lawson getting as pg's. But maybe I should tank assists, and look for someone to take me over edge in another cat?

My team:

PG: Lillard, Lawson, Rose
SG: K-Mart, Korver
SF: Granger
PF: D West, Ilyasova
C: B Lopez, R Lopez, Chandler, Cousins

What you think?

What if I already have 3pt % locked up, I never lose it. Should i still take Reddick? I am looking to improve in fg% and Reddick would give a boost there compared to Lillard. But I just don't know if Reddick will always have big minutes and contribute enough. At least I know lillard will play almost 40 min, and theres a chance he could up his %'s but who knows.

Is Korver your only healthy SF option right now?

I wouldnt not trade Lillard and be left with only PG. although Kmart, Korver, Reddick is a deadly trio

You think u can trade Robin Lopez for anything of value?

Ya Korver only SF right now until Granger is back. I only think I could get value out of Robin Lopez from 2 teams, because only those teams have owners that check basketballmonster rankings and see that Rolo is ranked 28th for the season. But if i trade him, I would like to get someone back that averages at least 1.5 blks because I have been winning blocks most weeks, but if i lose Rolo i prolly won't

Also, can you give me your thoughts on something i was contemplating? I am thinking about trading Lillard for Kyle Lowry. Lowry is pretty risky with his injuries lingering and calderon getting a bigger role than him, but I have a feeling that by fantasy playoff time if he is not injured he could get back to beasting and this could be a big upgrade for me. The owner is willing to get rid of him for just about anybody. Orrrrr maybe I could offer him Lillard and Robin Lopez for Lowry and Ryan Anderson.

I'm not sure, I just know that I would like to improve on Lillard and potentially move Robin Lopez if I can get someone good back, cause his lack of production sucks but his blocks, fg%, low tos and fouls are really nice

My opinion is that the trade is too even in this format that you have to take other things into consideration. Specifically, Lillard is a hyped up player that could easily be overvalued by a lazy manager.

Something to think about...

Lowry would be a great buy Low candiadte right now.

I would offer Lopez for him for starters and see what he says

I dropped Lopez and picked up Pekovic cause someone dropped Pek for Bogut. So do you think I should trade Lillard for Lowry?

Except it's not remotely even by the #s.

You guys are thinking too hard. Falling for a name. Name does not = production.

-shrugs- that's my last comment on this thread

What do you mean? I'm not sure what you are referring to, the Lillard for Reddick, or Lillard for Lowry?

Possibly, but the owner of Lowry has now read a rumor that Lowry is going to go to Boston so he wants to wait and see, he think if he goes to Boston he can be a fantasy beast. But now that I think of it, he is not really an upgrade to Lowry, shoots about the same **** 42% fg, worse ft, same **** 35% 3s, lower points and assists, more boards, and both about 3 TO's. I want Mike Conley or Deron Williams but i dunno what to offer, they wont do for Lillard i know that.
