Yahoo vs ESPN

Post#1 » by shakendfries » Wed Sep 21, 2016 2:28 am

Which is the better platform? I've done multiple yahoo leagues, but almost every time it loses steam over the course of the season as users forget to update lineups. Is ESPN any better? Are there any other alternatives I should look into?

What about fiddling with the settings for Yahoo custom leagues- Any suggestions there?

I personally like Yahoo better. I've just lost trust in ESPN. So far, I think most people use Yahoo.

Prefer Yahoo. ESPN is a mess... can't get over their layout and ui.

Pref Yahoo as well. Much cleaner layout. Usually better rankings (I prefer 9-cat).

I prefer espn for all fantasy, but haven't played basketball quite as much. I forget though, does espn not count a game if the player is in your lineup but doesn't play? I know yahoo doesn't but I can't remember if espn did, and haven't done espn roto in a while.

ESPN doesn't...we have a 30 game limit on our league.

So did I in h2h last year but I am running a roto league, which obviously doesn't have a limit until the very end when you reach all your games. I was just wondering if you had Westbrook as starting PG in the first game of the season and he sits out, if it counts as a game. I guess you are saying it doesn't.

ESPN projections are usually way off, but that makes it harder for people who don't know what they are doing/didn't do their homework.

Correct, it wouldn't count. Only if he played in that game.
