I really don't get how you drop a guy who averages a double double and shoots over 50%, but to each his own, I guess.

Here is the flaw in your logic.... you dropped Favors who is going to be a stud for the whole season for a guy that might help you win one week. And Favors has been killing it this week so looks like you really made a dumb decision. You must be new to fantasy basketball.

Re: The Official Waiver Wire Thread
drop burke for lin? Lin will provide a better fg and ft %, which is the main reason I'm thinking of doing it.

I considered him as well. I'm not sure. He has been playing decently these past two-three games. It's a gamble for sure. I would pick him up, but I wouldnt drop someone for him.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Dropping Wrotten for: Farmar, Burc, Jor. Crawford, or Reggie Jackson
Which is one the best out the bunch? Or should I hang onto Wrotten?

Jon Leuer has been a blessing for me lately. Before Beal came back I needed 3's so bad without hurting my rebounds. This guy recently has been putting up Spencer Hawes numbers, and if the Grizzlies end up trading Randolph, which I hope they do, means more playing time for him and better numbers.

Should I drop Gortat or Faried for Leuer? I'm considering it more than I would like to admit.

Re: The Official Waiver Wire Thread
Is Giannis Anteokounmpo worth the risk?
I want to pick him up solely for the reason that a few blocks and steals can put my team over the top. Word is he may become the starting SF in Miluakee. Is he ready to put up AK47 kind of numbers?
I don't really know who to drop on my current team below (12 team 9 cat league). Prime candidates are Splitter (but his FG is too valuable), Danny Green (I don't need points at all and he contributes in other categories), Vince Carter (his threes and random explosions are nice), Jordan Farmar (the guy can be mid-round value for 4 or 5 weeks - he will start at PG unless Nash comes back).
Lillard
Lebron
Brook Lopez
Robin Lopez
Teague
Kevin Martin
Isaiah Thomas
Danny Green
Trey Burke
Drummond
Sullinger
Amir Johnson
Tiaga Splitter
Jordan Farmar
Vince Carter

I'd wait it out a bit. You never know what ends up happening when Gasol comes back and if Randolph ever does end up getting traded.

Re: The Official Waiver Wire Thread
I drafted a team with depth that I thought would dominate but I'm getting ripped on steals, and 3s. Nobody in the league seems to want to trade so I can only improve via waiver wire. What to do?
