Hi everyone,

This is my first post in this forum. I'd like to get some opinions on my team!
Some background info first:
- I play in a league with 14 teams, H2H.
- After 12 rounds I'm a major contender for a play off spot (Tied 1st with 3 teams and the 5th team is already 2.5 games behind) and I won the matchup against one of the other #1 with 5-4-0 with 1 less TO and with 2 3PM to few.

Here is my current team, with almost every draft pick left except Salmons and Clark.

Mike Conley Jr.
John Salmons,
Nicolas Batum,
Glen Davis,
Marc Gasol
Bradley Beal,
Kevin Durant,
Jrue Holiday
Rodney Stuckey
Chris Copeland
A.J. Price
J.R. Smith
Earl Clark

Good team. I'd shop Turner; he's regressing and Bynum's return won't do him any favors. Good bigs and swingmen, but Calderon is saving your bacon right now. Who's on WW? A 3rd PG would go a long way for you. I'd like to do something with the George/Evans/Turner group.

Rotisserie style scoring
14 Cats: Points, Blocks, Steals, Assists, Offensive Rebounds, Defensive Rebounds, Rebounds, Field Goals Made, Free Throws Made, Three Pointers Made, Field Goal Percentage, Free Throw Percentage, Three Point Percentage, Assists To Turnover Ratio

Unlimited FA pickups, currently in 4th position. In a good 3/4 way fight for 3rd spot. Top 2 guys are a solid 20-40points ahead of the league. So not likely to catch either before the season is done.

Just traded, Dwight and Westbrook for LeBron in a 2 for 1 and picked up Jack just as Curry went down. Leading the league in FG% and 6th in blocks & ORB. Last in FT% due to having Dwight all season until recently. Also last in 3ptm & 3pt%

Still lots of peeps in FA. Current stars in FA pool, Bynum, Varejao, Rose, Granger, Bogut.

Should I look at picking up any of these guys to take a risk on making a run after the all-star break. (Thinking, rose, Varejao, granger ? )

Any help/suggestionswould be great

Responded to you in your thread.

I am currently ranked 3rd in the league, but have hit a slump as of recently and the first and second ranked teams are pulling away from me. I was just hoping to get some suggestions on who to drop/trade/pickup to improve my team. The FA list is fairly weak, names like Varajao, Bogut, Mo Williams, and others are on it. Here is my team, let me know what you think. Thanks!!

You didn't specify if it was roto or h2h.

Deep leagues + snake drafts = dum dum dum. You have Durant so you got lucky. Not much more to say.

You have three borderline first-rounders in Noah, Gasol, Al Jeff. But your PGs are awful. Nash and Kidd get raped in this format. Hope someone buys Nash's name.

Bigs rule this league like no other, so you know what you're doing there. Almost all your bigs are t50. Considering your league settings, your roster construction is abusive. I mean that as a compliment. Just turn Nash/Teague/Kidd into specialists. Go through your weekly history (being careful to account for who was on your team) and figure out what cats you typically win/lose, and one or two cats you could go from coin-flip to favorite most weeks.

I'd think you win FG%/OREB/DREB/BLK/TO every week. I'd advise you to play for a 6-5 victory every week with this roster.

Trade Bosh asap. Turner, too. Klay Thompson? If it's Klay, drop Foye. Good team, but not sure if it's great.

There's not much to say: your team's screwed. Destined for mediocrity.

Hi guys! Would like a little help with my team.
Currently I'm 2nd and would want to make minor adjustments to it.

10 team / 9 Cat / Rotiss

Current line up:

Lillard
Calderon
Dragic
E. Gordon

Carmelo
P. George
Afflalo

D. Lee
Horford
Bosh
Vucevic
Drummon
Splitter

Currently Ersan is on waiver, should I drop Splitter for him or Dragic?
Bynum is also available btw.

Would a David Lee + Dragic for Curry + T. Young make sense?

His team:

Curry
Beal
Ibaka
Young
Deng
Thornton
Korver
Griffin
Pierce
Garnett
Henson
Stoudemire
JR Smith

Thanks!

Crawford's droppable. Good team but surprised it's in 1st; not particularly great as far as your average random leagues go. Can't learn much when you don't ask questions so there's little for me to tell ya.

Congrats for lucking out on LBJ

Other than that you drafted alright. Not great or anything, but solid. You're above-average at this game but prob need to play in a tougher league.

So after trading away my Dwight Howard and picking up some FA's this is how my now team looks.

12 team 9 cat ESPN H2H League. 10th pick. Currently in 6th place. My team is:
PG: Nash, Rubio, Conley
SG: Iggy, Korver
SF: Parsons, MWP
PF: Ibaka, Sanders
C: Anthony Davis

Illyasova is currently on FA. I was thinking about picking him up, do you have any advice on who I should drop? I would like to drop either Iggy or Korver but that would leave me thin at the SG position. Should I drop Parsons for Illyasova? Raymond Felton is also on the FA if that changes anything. Thanks in advance guys!
