10 Person, H2H, 9 cat.

Derrick Rose
Larry Sanders
Damien Lillard
Blake Griffin
Chris Bosh
Andre Drummond
Luol Deng
Danny Green
Tobias Harris
Marcin Gortat
Wilson Chandler

I missed the first 4 rounds to auto-pick, so I freaked out and just picked the best players available. I know I have to trade 1-2 bigs, what should I do?

16 Team, H2H

Point Guards: John Wall, Goran Dragic
Shooting Guards: Joe Johnson, DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Korver
Small Forwards: Jeff Green, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Power Forwards: Kevin Garnett, Amar'e Stoudemire, Channing Frye, Anthony Bennett
Center: Al Jefferson, Robin Lopez

I have a lot of depth at power forward, but a lot of those guys are also risks. Bennett is a rookie, Frye and Stoudemire are recovering from injuries, and Jason Kidd may sit KG on the second game of back-to-backs. I'm thinking of making a trade for an upgrade at PF (I've been looking at Josh Smith, David Lee and Greg Monroe so far).

Other than that, what do you guys think? I'm really hoping that guys like Green and Wall take a big step up this year and can average 20 PPG.

you need to drop lamb and derrick williams, neither of them are going to give you anything and you already have 2 injured players in westbrook and gallo. i would personally drop gallo too, he should be out half the year at least.

also i would look to trade drummond, him along with horford will tank the **** out of your ft% which will negate a huge chunk of harden's value. find the dude with dwight howard or whoever is punting ft% in your league cuz he will value drummond a lot more.

Calderon is the best point guard dallas have, he'll be the starter and should get ~30 mpg, monta will spend some time at the 2. Chalmers is perfectly fine and a good source of steals+threes in late rounds.

and again, i dont understand people drafting drummond with these hugely positive ft% players (like melo). if you expect his numbers to go up because of increased minutes, then you should expect his hugely negative ft% impact to increase as well. he is worse than howard, he shot 37% last year. if we go by his per 36 numbers he should be averaging about 4.5-5 free throws a game. even if he improves to like 45% thats super awful.

10tm, 9cat, H2H w/custom keeper rules.

PG Rose
SG Klay
SF Hayward
PF D. Lee
C L. Sanders
G Wall
F Pau
U Conley
U Monta
U Tobias H.

Bench Jonas, Varejao, Rondo (IR)

I'm basically punting TO and FG%. Should I target 3's, blocks or boards in trade/FA?

you should just trade klay and punt threes instead, only him and monta are bringing down your fg%, and youre weaker in threes anyways. punting fg% would be dumb with this team really.

How about this team? 10-team, 9-cat H2H league

PG-John Wall
SG-Kawhi Leonard
G-Kemba Walker
SF-Wesley Matthews
PF-Kevin Love
F-Pau Gasol
C-Derrick Favors
C-Amir Johnson
Util-Jose CAlderon
Util-Marcin Gortat
BN-Danny Green
BN-Isaiah Thomas
BN-Moe Harkless

I may have overdrafted the big men because its a 2 C league, but any improvements? Should I be punting/trading anything? Should I be looking for a certain category?

Alex Len is a FA and with Gortat gone, I'm thinking I could drop Harkless for him.

Thanks in advance!

This thread idea is flawed. It should be entitled, "want to post your fantasy team?"

You have good big men, I wouldn't be looking to add another in my opinion.

Good point. Do you think I'd be better off trading a big for a wing or PG?

Hey fellas, any advice on my team? My draft didn't go to plan, as players I weren't expecting to be available were at the time eg: Ibaka pick 25

12 team yahoo regular 9 cat Head to head league.
I landed pick 5 (harden)

Pg: Holiday
SG: Harden
G: Turner
Sf: Parsons
PF: Ibaka (pick 25)
F: Milsap
C: Jefferson (pick 20)
U: B Knight
U: Amir Johnson
U: Beverley ( ugh, was desperate for a guard in the last rounds)

Bench: Garnett ( panicked with the clock winding down, pick 126)
Bench: Bynum ( happy to take the risk with a very late pick)
Bench: Butler

I'm happy with my big men, but feel I need more help in PPG, 3PM and assists.

Any advice would be great!

Your analysis seems pretty on target to me. If you could manage to replace a big man with a PG or wing, that would be very ideal. If I were you I would almost punt assists and try to beef up the 3's and PPG.

i mean, lamb wouldnt be a bad gamble if you had a deep team, but you have 2 injured players so you need production. i really like him but i dont think he will produce right away, and will most likely suck for a couple weeks. you can leave him on the waiver in most leagues and pick him up once he starts to get hot.
