2. (22) Kyle Lowry (Tor – PG)
3. (28) Al Horford (Atl – PF,C) [Dirk was on the bored, it was a tough call but I needed reb/blk]
4. (45) Ricky Rubio (Min – PG) [Maybe a reach, but elite ast/stl numbers]
5. (52) Wesley Matthews (Por – SG,SF) [Regret not taking DeRozan here]
6. (69) Jonas Valanciunas (Tor – C) [Big run on C's, figured Val won't fill my FT%]
7. (76) Terrence Jones (Hou – SF,PF)
8. (93) Reggie Jackson (OKC – PG,SG)
9. (100) Andrew Bogut (GS – C) [Desperate for reb/blk. When healthy he'll beast.]

13. (148) Rudy Gobert (Uta – C)
14. (165) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Det – SG)
15. (172) Otto Porter Jr. (Was – SF)

A few thoughts:

- If Horford stays healthy he's top 20 easy. He was Top 15 when he went down last year but his pectoral issue is always something to keep an eye out.
- Olynyk will have a good season - don't expect high efficiency but he will get a lot of run
- Otta last round is decent - you'll get a good 4-5 weeks from him
- Bogut WILL GET INJURED keep an eye out for D.Green. Pick his ass up when Bogut goes down.

Much appreciated!

nah Hawes was a monster last year but that was in the up tempo free for all that was Philly. everyone that got minutes got numbers playing in that system. bball monster actual did a nice write up of why hes not worth owning:
Spencer Hawes, FC, LAC - It was just a year ago that we were touting Hawes as a sleeper, but things have changed a lot since as he's moved on from the friendly confines of the Sixers offense to a new locale. There are nothing but good things to say about the Clippers' signing of Hawes from a non-fantasy perspective. He's a clear upgrade to their bench and his versatility should allow him to pair well with either Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. But things aren't so rosy for fantasy purposes. Griffin and Jordan averaged 35.8 and 35 minutes per game last season, respectively, and the pair has missed a combined six games over the past four seasons. How many minutes will realistically be available for Hawes, particularly if coach Doc Rivers gives at least occasional playing time to Glen Davis and/or Ekpe Udoh? Hawes was truly superb in a career-high 31 minutes per game last season, but he'll be hard-pressed to make an impact in standard leagues while playing closer to 20 minutes on most nights.

as for lillard, i would say it depends on what you feel you need in relation to other teams. if you want some more big man stats try to get favors, hes gonna be a monster this year. Deandre and Noel are good targets too if you can overcome the low point total from them and drummond. if you can add more value Horford fits perfectly onto your team as well. if you want some guard/wing play, Wade is a monster in punt three/ft%, and theres no reason for him to be rested this year like seasons past since miami will need him to get wins. Stephenson is nice too if you want the counting stats but i think hes a bit overrated. Monta is also really nice too since he hits like 1 three a game and is a monster in steals. if u want more assists then Rubio is an obvious target as well just be careful with the turnovers when you combine him with MCW and Rondo.

Props for your feedback. The same guy in my league who has D-Wade also has Nerlens Noel, so I'll try to package a deal involving both. Lillard + Hawes (wishful thinking but he might bite) for Wade + Noel?

Drafted the following this morning in our 10 man H2H:

DeMarcus Cousins PF, C - Kings (#9)
Kevin Durant F - Thunder (#11) Wouldn't have lasted till #29, so I took him ahead of Love or Wall or Drummond
Marc Gasol C - Grizzlies (#29)
Ty Lawson PG - Nuggets (#32)
Eric Bledsoe PG, SG - Suns (#49)
Ricky Rubio PG - Timberwolves (#52) Wolves homer - sue me :)
Nerlens Noel C - Sixers (#69) got too hyped on some post I read on the GB and couldn't resist.
Kyle Korver SG, SF - Hawks (#72) felt he was a bit high, but need shooting in a bad way.
Andrew Wiggins SF - Timberwolves (#89) (I feel he should be able to play SG as well...)
Larry Sanders C - Bucks (#92)
Paul Pierce SF, PF - Wizards (#109) lost Afflalo one pick prior
Jeff Green SG, SF - Celtics (#112)
Gorgui Deng C - Timberwolves (#129) only saw later that Adams was still available - damn :(
Marcus Smart PG - Celtics (#132) panicked, as the clock ran out.

Probably will have blocks and steals locked up. Rebounds looking good as well, but I am worried about scoring, and 3PT especially without Durant.

Overall, probably a lot of risk with Sanders & Cousins (attitude), Bledsoe & Durant (injury), Noel & Wiggins (rookies), but could be high upside.

I am curious about adding Olynyk or Bennett, who both could have big years. I think if Rondo is healthy, Smart won't see much playing time.

What do you guys think?

Olynyk is much more likely to have a big year and rondo is already hurt so Smart will see a ton of playing time early. i actually think the celtics will look to trade rondo before the all star break so Smart could breakout to be this years MCW on a slower pace team (so obviously slightly lower numbers). avery bradley sucks so theres no real competition for him really.

G- Rubio
F - P Gasol
Util - Calderon

Your blocks are incredibly dependent on Bogut staying healthy which is a longshot and I don't like Nelson on any team unless you punt fg%/turnovers (which you might be doing since curry/rubio/lawson is a great core for that). If that's the case you definitely should get rid of Calderon, too many point guards and he's the most expendable.

Henson is not bad, he'll just be stuck behind sanders to start the season it looks like, you could do worse.

12 man H2H

(6) Chris Paul - I was originally targeting Durant, but went #5. However Cp3 fell to 6th...
(11) Serge Ibaka - I expect a lot from serge, skipped on Lowry and Drummond for this pick.
(30) Dwyane Wade - Increased play time, and he was really good when he did play last year. Big risk though.
(43) Eric Bledsoe - Didn't know he'd drop this far, other than injuries, he should be a stud.
(54) Greg Monroe - Faried was picked 2 picks before this.. Look to see Monroe improve under schedule though.
(67) Tobias Harris - Strong believer in Harris.
(78)Victor Oladipo - First stash, strongly believe that he'll be a steal once he's healed.
(91) Andrew Wiggins - Homer pick, seriously would've picked T Jones if Wiggins wasn't from Toronto.
(102) Reggie Jackson - Simply surprised he was still there.
(115) Kelly Olynyk- Starting C for the Celtics, had to **** focus to big men.
(126) Enes Kanter- Again in focused on big men, picked up Kanter late.
(136) Nick Young, immediately dropped for Wilson Chandler.
(150) Mason Plumlee - Last pick for me, I imagine I got a serviceable rental.

Depth Chart
Pg : Paul, Bledsoe, Jackson
Sg : Wade, Oladipo (stash)
Sf: Harris, Wiggins, Chandler.
Pf: Ibaka, Monroe
C : Olynyk , Kanter, Plumlee

16man 9cat:

PG - G.Hill / L. Williams / E. Payton
SG - J. Butler / E. Gordon
SF - K. Durant /Joe Johnson/ Harkless
PF- A. Horford / D. Blair / J. Randle
C - A. Drummond / T.Mozgov

What do you guys think? After getting Durant at 5 , Drummond at 27 and Horford at 35 it really felt like a good draft for me.
At the end of the day though i ran out of options at PG and Backup Forwards ( kind of hard in a 16man league without being a fantasy veteran) . any help is appreciated!:)
