Hey Everyone,

I am looking for some opinions on who to keep in a 14 team head to head, standard 10 category league. I get to select five keepers.

Michael Beasley
Abdray Blatche
Blake Griffin
Spencer Hawes
Brendan Haywood
Kirk Hinrich
Dwight Howard
Brandon Jennings
Kevin Martin
Lamar Odom
Brandon Rush
Russell Westbrook
Deron Williams

never done 10 cat... is the 10th category fouls?

i'm guessing howard, d.will., westbrook, blatche and griffen. that's assuming you are going to keep playing in this league for several seasons, and thus young players have more value. I'm also figuring on big improvement from westbrook over that time.

I like Jennings over Blatche

It is hard not to know who to keep without knowing the tenth (could be OREB and DREB?) but I would roll with this core:

Russell Westbrook
Deron Williams
Dwight Howard
Brandon Jennings
Kevin Martin

And look to move Kevin Martin for another big man. Having players who do not mesh well (high FT% value from K-Mart which is wasted when paired with Howard) is counterproductive.

Russell Westbrook
Deron Williams
Dwight Howard
Brandon Jennings
Blake Griffin

Kevin Martin is too injury prone for my liking. In the last three years, he missed 31, 21 and 36 games.

The categories are:

Field Goal Percentage (FG%),
Free Throw Percentage (FT%),
3-point Shots Made (3PTM),
Points Scored (PTS),
Offensive Rebounds (OREB),
Total Rebounds (REB),
Assists (AST),
Steals (ST),
Blocked Shots (BLK),
Assist/Turnover Ratio (A/T)

I am kind of surprised that no one has mentioned Beasly. I think he could have a huge year in Minny.

I don't think he'll have a huge year. He doesn't block shots, he doesn't steal the ball. He doesn't get assists. His rebounding doesn't blow me away either.

Yeah totally agree, I think he will score a lot and rebound some but the rest of his statline will wander between average and below average in every category

If it's ast/to then you have to take Jennings over Blatche (or Griffen). I've played leagues with both assists and asst/to before, and those are point guard leagues. Guys like Raymond Felton are solid players in that kind of league.

edit: oh crap, I didn't notice when I first posted that both REB and OREB were in there. I'm not sure what to think now. Without actually looking at the numbers, I'm guessing Westbrook is going to be the bomb now. Totally studly.
