I could use some help picking my 5th and final keeper. I am in a 12 team head to head league in yahoo with the standard categories.
*Lock as a keeper

Carmelo Anthony*
Rajon Rondo*
Yao Ming*

Blake Griffin- Considering for 5th
Greg Oden- Considering for 5th

Camby, Oden and possibly Pryz will get into a time share. I know people around here don't really like Griffin's fantasy potential a lot, but I'd pick Griffin.

He will give you Boozer's numbers with more blks (I think 1.5 within a year). Oden is nice and has potential but I think he'll be a injury prone player forever, and Camby is gearing up for a last hurray.

Also, looking at the fact you have Ming at C too, I wouldn't tie up another keeper in a injury prone C.

Thank you for your input. I was leaning towards Griffin especially since he is young.

My advice? Drop Yao Ming. I know that's crazy, but I seriously don't see him lasting more than another year in the NBA...but, who knows. I'm not his personal trainer.

If you want to keep Ming: Griffin's your best bet.

1. Camby is too old to be a keeper IMO,
2. Oden could be a keeper, but I'd trust Griffin's health over Odens. That is, unless you believe in the Clipper curse, which would put Griffin done for the season on November 2nd.

I might also be crazy, but I would also drop Ming. If you're going to keep an injury prone C I would go with Oden myself.

So for me it would be:
Lebron James
Carmelo Anthony
Rajon Rondo
Greg Oden
Blake Griffin

Griffin must be kept, first and foremost. But count me as one of the great Oden skeptics. That said, Ming may have played his best season already. Believe it or not, Camby's the closest to a sure thing this coming season. But if you're planning for the future, go with Oden. If you're trying to win now, go with Camby. If you're feeling lucky, go with Ming.
