My guy tells me to turn down the offer, but then, I have to wonder if Brooks might not continue to escalate his game and Livingston flourish with Brown in Charlotte.
I think Collison will be a stud, but I see Brooks putting up the same type stats. I like the appeal of getting a second player who might be making a revival in his career. (I was also offered Jeff Teague instead of Livingston, if I want.)
Am I crazy to consider this trade?

Keeper Format or one and done?
TBH, I don't know if a second player really brings that much value in a 2 for 1, since you must cut someone to make room. It's really rare to see a situation where the 2nd player makes or breaks the trade.
So, the question then becomes who you prefer - Brooks or Collison?
Brooks is a nice player - but I had him last year and know he's erratic at times, and doesn't always shoot a great percentage.
Collison is likely to get you better %'s, more assists and should score close to the same amount of pts - although I think Brooks has more of a green light on the perimeter in Houston, where as Collison will defer more to Granger/Hibbert.
I think knowing Collison is Indy's guy, you should hang onto him. Having Teague or Livingston on your squad shouldn't make or break. I don't think the deal is lopsided, but I prefer to hold onto the younger guy with more upside - especially in a keeper format.

keep collison
brooks' pts and 3s will go down this season, even if yao doesnt play a whole lot. with miller, martin, and our young players, there'll be less shots for brooks. i dont think his assists will go down tho, specially w/ ariza gone.
higher fg%, less pts/3s, MAYBE more assists if yao plays, 7apg at most
livingston has a small chance to breakout, but i dont think he will. something like 8pts/3asts

Yeah, it's a keeper format. Brooks being erratic at times is the main factor in my leaning towards turning the trade down, but I wanted to bounce it off someone else and see what they thought. I figure with Brooks being such a good three point shooter, when Yao is in, that might open up more looks for him, and when he's not in, Brooks will still be called upon to score. But he's gopt some of that old Rafer Alston syndrome of not being able to count on him night after niught. Thanks for the input guys.
