Who to drop ?

Post#1 » by slimkaka » Mon Aug 30, 2010 1:22 pm

Hi everyone.

Im in a 20 teams keeper league and now i have to drop three players.

my team goes like this :

Chris Andersen
D.J. Augustin
Jerryd Bayless
Andrew Bogut
Matt Bonner
Andrew Bynum
Omri Casspi
Drew Gooden
Danny Granger
Jordan Hill
Larry Hughes
Kenyon Martin
Anthony Morrow
J.R. Smith
Russell Westbrook

Im thinking of dropping Larry Hughes , Matt Bonner and im kinda undecided with Jordan Hill or Jerryd Bayless...

who will be getting enough minutes? Bayless or Jordan Hill?

please help me to make the decision..

Any response is appreciated.

Thank you.

I think you should opt to keep Bayless. He's got crazy upside and Andre Miller won't be with Portland next yr imo, and maybe even dealt early, who knows.

Not sure either Bayless or Hill will amount to much, but I think Bayless has more fantasy potential.

Drop Hughes, Hill and Bonner

Hughes is garbage, Bonner is nothing more than a 6-8 pt a night guy with a few rebounds so not much production there other than a high FG%.

Hill was supposed to be the guy they were expecting to pair up Gallo and LeBron with in NYK but it was obvious that he is talentless in a D'Antoni offense because he looks confused and scared to be on a run and gun team. He may get some bite now that he is in Houston? if Yao does not return that is.

I'd drop Larry Hughes, Matt Bonner and Chris Anderson or Kenyon Martin if I were you.

Looking at your team I think you need Hill and Bayless more than those two. See:

PG: Russell Westbrook - D.J. Augustin - Jerryd Bayless
SG: J.R. Smith - Anthony Morrow - Larry Hughes
SF: Danny Granger - Omri Casspi
PF: Drew Gooden - Jordan Hill - Kenyon Martin - Matt Bonner
C: Andrew Bogut - Andrew Bynum - Chris Andersen

Oh, and if I were you I would make a real effort to trade for a Joe Cool/Roy/Mayo/Iggy SG really hard.

thanks for all the responses.

C.Anderson will give me blocks and decent rebounds even he gets traded to another team.

Jordan hill is a X factor, if Rockets is going to do a huge trade( etc. Melo or Paul ), Jordan Hill will definitely involved and then it is unknown whether He will be getting minuts in a new team.

You've already got blocks and rebounds covered with your combination of Bogut, Bynum along with the rebounding of Gooden, Granger and Westbrook (for a PG).

What you really need is assists from your starting SG - and Hill has considerable upside. Considering it's a keeper league I would be looking to build around Westbrook, DJ, Granger, Hill, Bogut and Bynum.

Everyone else would be used to improve your roster.

Go trade for Mayo. You need him more than he needs you - and his value might be a little low right now so you might not have to give up too much to get him.

Offer something like Bayless and Anderson.
