I like how you took into account what each player specializes in. It seems that you have built a pretty well rounded team.

You have every category covered, including percentages which is pretty huge. You also made pretty solid picks early in the draft. Outside of that, my only concerns with your team are the lack of assists. Especially if Holiday doesn't breakout, you only have Billups and Kobe who are half decent in that. So maybe shop for another cheap point guard option with your lower end (expendable) guys.

To be honest...I also am not to fond of your end of draft picks. Thompson is competing with Cousins, Dalembert, and Landry for minutes. Dragic is only valuable if something happens to Nash. Marvin doesn't really do much. So if there are certain specilists available on the wire like passers or shotblockers, then I would maybe dump Marvin and Dragic for them. Thompson you might as well keep and see what happens.

^^ thanks. i drafted dragic because of the phoenix system and the possibility of nash sitting more games or traded (i read it in some website). about marvin williams, i thought maybe with the change of coach or being a sixth man (moving horford to pf ans josh smith to sf) will do him good. for thompson, i have a feeling that he will have a solid/alright season despite the logman on bigs in Sacramento.

for the assists, only players worth in our waiver wire are teague and douglas, should i pick them?

I would take Teague over Dragic. Bibby has a lot less left in him when compared to Nash. Teague is being primed for a breakout season, almost everywhere I read/look. I'm not sure if he'll get many assists, but he can score. I think I would take that chance and if he bombs then maybe Dragic will still be available? Up to you really as both are end of bench guys.

Bogut won't be absent and Gooden is a terrible fantasy player regardless so trade him to some fool for whatever you can get. Yao as you've mentioned isn't likely to be good value, Marvin is in the Gooden category of terrible players. Maybe you can package the two of them and get something useful. Okafor isn't a bad gamble where you've picked him IMO.

before the 24 minute limit, the yao pick would have been a nice gamble, low risk, low reward type of deal. If you want, you might want to consider hedging your bets and getting brad miller, all around center who will get the minutes yao does not. Tim Duncan always gets rested during the year to save up for the (NBA) playoffs and always play low minutes during (fantasy) playoffs and he also isn't what he used to be, although he hasn't lost as much as i may have made it seem. In my opinion, Nash still has a few years of greatness in him (im seeing 2, 3 max) so your pick in dragic might be a year or two early in my opinion. You took a big gamble taking okafor that early. He is probably already playing at his ceiling with his 13-10 double double roughly and blocks, i doubt he will ever blossom into anything more.

If that is jason thompson, then that is a good pick, i try to target him every draft. Marvin Williams is a bust, im sure there are other ppl in the wire that are better. Paul Pierce is getting old fast, backcourt is crowded in Philly so im not a fan of Jrue. Finally, you picked crash over Josh Smith, and thats your preference, and yes crash played a fair amount of games last season but he is always an injury risk. To be brutally honest, i believe you will hover around the 5-7th spot in a league but with some tweaking, your team has the potential to do better.

^^ thanks. yeah, there's alot of questionable players that i picked this fantasy season. hopefully i can trade them in the course of the season. my strategy at first really was to pick howard in the first round and then maybe rondo or josh smith in the second; but kobe slipped to me--bad strategy? i know swingmen are dime a dozen but kobe is still kobe.

no, kobe is still a great fantasy player, although a team with howard (if you are punting ft) would be the beginnings of a great team, which is what you said you were going to do by drafting josh smith next or rondo. Like i said, you need to tweak your team but im sure you can make it work
