curry's a solid 5-8 pick, nash can still get 8apg. bargs can get 22/7/1.6blk/2.2 3s . dont like drafting rockets players in early rounds, martin isnt gonna get 20ppg w/ a healthy rockets team, imo shoula gone for blks/rbs. pretty strange how ur 5-8 picks are all "Andr" , but they're all solid picks. the meka pick coulda been avoided if u picked a defensive big with your 4th pick. last 4 picks are good, i think hawes is a sleeper.

overall you did really good. if i were you i'd trade martin and meka and maybe one of ur last 4 picks for stls/3s/w/e else u want. maybe a swingman who gets 3s and stls. well rounded team

Pretty much spot on with this!
You really loaded up with threes with your first four picks. Blocks look really good as well. Nash and Curry should be enough to compete in assists, you could use another guard to help out a tiny bit tho. I think you should be ok with rebounds if Biedrins somehow returns to form. Besides that everything looks great!

Again, thanks for the replies guys. I drafted Kmart because the draft led me to pick a very percentages orientated team with curry and nash, and i thought i would get kmart for the percentages as well in order to make room for a player with bad percentages which i never really got unless you count biedrins' 16% from the free throw line last year lol. If kmart can give me even a little less of what he has done the past few years, i will be happy.

I didn't notice myself, but i couldn't help but laugh with the "Andr" theme from 5-8 and then if you add "Andr"ea bargnani lol.

Wasn't a big fan of emeka either but i decided to play it safe and just wanted/needed an extra big man, and in hindsight i do agree that maybe martin should probably not have been picked and i was too worried about doing very well with the percentages.

I would like to get Danilo Gallinari but thats because im a homer and im expecting good things this year from him. Thanks once again

Ă€gree with Rox, but

If anything, the Biedrins pick is a bad one and the Okafor a good one.

i dont like meka's fts, everything else is good w/ him. andris could be good if he's healthy, i wouldnt pick him this season tho. 7 players who put up decent stats arent in gsw this season, so i'd expect curry, monta, lee, and bierdins to pick up the slack

And you do like Biedrins' ft?

they're the same. i wouldnt say his 1.3 blocks last season to be normal. right now he's the only shot blocker on that team, before he had turiaf and randolph, and he's always injured so that's gotta hurt his blocking ability. i wouldnt pick either of them, they both kill fts

one thing, andris was at 62ft% in 07-08, after his breakout season w/ 52 ft%. could've been on pace for a borderline decent ft% if he didnt get injured. corse i'd have to see it first

Not really. Biedrins lost all confidence in his FT shooting. It has affected his whole game and has more to do with confidence than with any sort of injury. It was stated by his coaches earlier this year. I don't think he'll shoot over 50% ft's. And that's IF he's even playing enough.

Also, Biedrins hasn't averaged more than 1.7 blocks in his career, reaching that plateau only once. An average IOkafor tops for his career, and has been under only once.

Biedrins' 1.3 blocks are right on with his career average.

i dunno, i think he can get back to a 10/10/1.7 blk player if he stays healthy for one year. in his 1.6bpg year, he missed a lotta game post all star break, before that he was 13/12/1.6bpg, even got 2apg. if he really lost all confidence then that sucks for him, he's still young and now has a great chance to get back to form, can block all the shots he wants with the current gsw roster. epke wont play till midseason. the time is now for him

but i will take bake wat i said about him. i dunno who else was available. if there was a big dropoff in blocks after him and meka, then its an ok risk to take. say goodbye to ur ft%.

w/ ur last 4 picks able to get blocks, shoud've got some wings or pgs or something. if tyrus thomas was there should've got him. could have another 1.9bpg season.

I'd prefer wasting a last round pick on Turiaf over spending an 8th rounder on Biedrins this year. Haywood is another guy available in later rounds who might give you what you need at a cheaper rate.
