keeper advice!!!

i´ve got to pick 5 keepers in a very competitive 18-team head-to-head league!
roster positions are G, G, F, F, C, Util, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN!
cats are (FG%), (FT%), (3PTM), (PTS), (REB), (AST), (ST), (BLK)
i need 5 players out of:
Carlos Delfino
Arron Afflalo
Kevin Love
Troy Murphy
Tyson Chandler
Danilo Gallinari
Mario Chalmers
Leandro Barbosa
Caron Butler
Yi Jianlian
Ricky Rubio
Josh Howard
i think love, murphy, gallinari and butler are the obvious ones! the decision about the 5th one comes down to howard or barbosa? what do you think?
i own the 2nd pick and 2 high picks the second round in the upcoming draft! i assume john wall is gone with the first pick.. is evan turner the save pick for me if wall is gone?
with the 2 high second round picks i want to target other rookies like johnson, aldrich, monroe, cousins, davis or splitter.. any advice?
thanks a lot..

That looks like a terrible list only one I would keep is Love.
As for your pick Turner and Cousins probably the safest pick fantasy wise. Cousins could be problematic in real basketball, but fantasy he will definitely put up numbers on a Kings team that has nobody, but him and Tyreke.

Have you ever done an 18 man league?

Love and Gallinari forsure without question.
Then the last three should be: Murphy, Butler and I guess Yi or Barbosa. I would take the chance on Barbosa this season but if you plan to keep him for a few years then Yi has the potential. Then again if that were the case then you would probably be better off keeping rubio.

tough choice for ur last keeper. its either barbs, yi, or rubio. u can take a high risk high reward w/ rubio. since its a deep league, and u already have love and murphy, i'd go for barbosa. at the least he'll get you borderline 3s, asts. i think they'll play him more in toronto, so something like 12pts/2asts/1.5 3pts/1stl sounds right.
u could get yi, build on your strong categories, since barbs wont give you that much. also has potential and is on a bad team. they'll need him to strech the floor for blatche. if he does get minutes and stay healthy i'd pick him over barbs, maybe

Was this team conceived through an auto-draft?
Galinari
Love
Butler
Murphy
... No idea.
I would consider drafting Cousins over Turner given your line-up and projections.

i overtook the team of an inactive manager the year before..
the keepers in 2008 were j-o´neal, crawford, stojakovic, butler and marion.. i missed the draftday the last season because of a computercrash and ended up with a roster of
Caron Butler
Shawn Marion
Jamal Crawford
Leandro Barbosa
Carl Landry
Kevin Love
Mario Chalmers
Ramon Sessions
Brandon Rush
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Travis Outlaw
Carlos Delfino
damn.. that was a *** team!
the potential keepers look a lot better to me now! in the trades at season´s end i boosted my draftpicks as well..
what do you think about josh howard in washington? what stats will he got?

Typically I try to avoid players with a history of injury, especially when coming off ACL surgery. Think you'll be incredibly lucky to even get 35 healthy games out of him. I don't think you'll compete this season so I would use that last spot to tie Rubio up as his value will be sky-high and he has a lot of hype that should increase his value next year.

I would probably go with Barbosa. With Rupaul and He-douche gone, he should put up some big numbers if he stays healthy. Hopefully Calderon gets traded too.
