Trade Question (Lee/Felton for Westbrook/Anthony)

Post#1 » by cochiseuofm » Thu Oct 14, 2010 2:55 pm

I have a team in a dynasty, keeper, H2H league, you keep entire team. My team is built around Dwight Howard and I have Josh Smith and David Lee.

Anyways I got offered this deal.

David Lee and Ray Felton for Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook.

Who is winning in this one? Carmelo has nice stats, but I don't know if he compliments Howard as well as Lee does. Westbrook is obviously a good upgrade over Felton in a keepr league.

Any help here? The guy wants a response ASAP or he is going to pull the offer.

I was answering your question awhile ago and my computer froze up. Forgot to come back to it...

I think it's a pretty good trade for you actually. Both Carmelo and Westbrook are 2nd round guys in keeper/dynasty leagues. With Westbrook having the potential to move up to 1st round value. While Lee is in the same tier as them, Felton is nothing but mid-draft fodder and will never be anything more.

I think you get the best player in the deal, plus an argument for 2nd best at the least. So value wise it's pretty damn good. Lee is good to match up with Dwight but so is Melo considering his ft% and attempts per game. Even if your punting that, you still get more categories covered this way.
