Greg Oden

Post#1 » by NYknicks808 » Wed Oct 27, 2010 6:07 pm

Can someone tell me when he is coming back to play? I was thinking this year would be a very imporatant year as he has something to prove, and will have some good stats.

I was pondering the thought of picking him up depending on when he returns

Thanks

I read yesterday that it would be at least late November before he returns. I think Oden has talent and upside but I personally steer clear of injury risks of this magnitude.

Wow what a shame. He started off last year real good fantasy wise too.

I'm going to keep my eye on him but the problem is dropping a healthy player for a guy that will have stretches of games played. There is nothing more frustrating to me than having injured players so there is no way I'm going to drop someone like Channing Frye to deal with Oden's bum knee all year. It is a shame. Who knows... maybe he'll shock everyone this year and stay on the court.

Gut instinct tells me he's not going to be out until Dec-Jan like some people originally predicted... If I had to guess I'd say late November but I have nothing to base this on.

Still, Oden has to share minutes with Aldridge and Camby who're top bigmen in hte league also. Dont forget Przybilla.......

Its not gonna be easy especially if he has JUSt recovered

I wouldn't have him on my squad.
