I wanna be Elite!

I'm in a Yahoo 12-team, 9 cat H2H league.

P. Gasol
Nash
Love
J. Richardson
Hibbert
Mayo
Boozer*
Augustin
Conley
Daye
Afflalo
McRoberts
Milicic

*My league has its own IR system where we can reserve one player on waivers until they're healthy, so I want to replace Boozer for the coming month.

Should I get another rebounder/shot-blocker and dominate those categories along with 3's, or work on my weaknesses (stls, assists)?

It's a really smart, competitive league so there isn't much in the way of FA's. A few names I've looked at are Wilson Chandler, Ibaka, Teague, Bibby, Artest, Lou Williams, Casspi, Speights, and Outlaw.

General comments about my team are appreciated, too.

I wouldn't bother with steals and it's always hard to find AST off the waiver wire... I'd go with another big.

Only problem is when Booz comes back you'll be a bit overloaded in those big man cats...

You wouldn't bother with steals, why? Because they're a lost cause for my team?

na you aint winning steals. i would flop it if i were you. swap conley for a player like calderon whose worse but gets assists and make them throw in sweetener.

Pretty much, I don't know your league though so you'll have to do your own team-by-team comparison.. Overall your team seems solid though the pairing of Gasol and Nash is just insane efficiency.

OK I picked up Delfino. Should give me 3's, stls and pts until Maggette's healthy enough to start, at which point Boozer should be ready to come back, too.

Maggette is probably never going to start UNLESS the Bucks go through a rough stretch where they drop game after game.

The problem with Delfino is his FG%... If you can stomach that he's a great add. I have him in my league but may actually move him because of it...

I don't agree with that at all. I think Maggette will definitely start as soon as he's healthy enough. That's not to say Delfino won't get starter like minutes, but I think Maggette will definitely get a lot of starts. I think Delfino's #'s will probably be better all around than Maggette but he's VERY valuable to my team as we play with FTM in my league. He's always been an excellent FT shooter and gets to the line like crazy.

I could definitely see a scenario where Delfino starts and Maggette is the top dog on the bench but I think Maggette actually fits better in the starting line-up. Delfino's best asset is his 3pt shooting and I think the Bucks already have enough 3pt shooting in the starting line-up with Jennings and Salmons. I think Maggette's ability to get to the hoop and the line fits in very well with the starting 5.

Scott Skiles has a history of "loyalty" to his players, and more importantly wants his starters to play defense.

The Bucks won 46 games with Bogut being injured last year.

If Maggette starts the Bucks have no consistent scoring off the bench (Delfino is streaky, Ersan is streaky, etc.).

I just don't see Maggette starting. He'll get enough minutes to warrant being on all fantasy teams but everything I've read has led me to believe that Maggette WAS NOT brought in to be a starter.

Both Delfino and Maggette will get minutes, with Delfino you have to live with his piss-poor FG%, with Maggette he won't get you much outside of PTS and FT% and you'll have to live with the inevitable 2-week+ injury.

Bogut played in 69 games last year

I wasn't implying that Bogut missed all of last year but that he missed time and the Bucks still won 46 games WITH Delfino as one of their starters.

So I stand by what I said earlier barring a major loss streak Maggette won't move into the starting lineup. :)

Maggette won't start or get big minutes. Delfino's minutes are safe.

Delfino killed em last night. I'm loving that pickup.

I also dropped Austin Daye for Lou Williams.

New Roster:

P. Gasol
Nash
Love
J. Richardson
Hibbert
Mayo
Augustin
Delfino
Lou Williams
Conley
Afflalo
McRoberts
Milicic

Again, Boozer's mine when he comes back. I'll drop the worse player between Darko and McRoberts, then.
