Someone dropped him in my league. How long is he out for? Is he worth picking up? I do need rebounds and blocks

He was supposed to be out until early to mid December. Phil Jackson recently said he'll be back around thanksgiving (late November). So if you can stomach the empty roster spot and there are no better options on waivers, then go for it.
