Derrick Rose for Paul Millsap

I'm pondering whether to offer this trade. I'm in a roto league, and I'm the best in assists and points, but I'm lacking in FG%, FT% and rebounds (everything that Millsap is).

Is it worth giving up Derrick Rose's elite production for Millsap? Do you think Millsap can continue his dominance?

i personally wouldn't trade rose, but in your scenario as you describe i can understand why it makes sense for you. With that said, if you really do want millsap, I would ask for more. a straight up trade of rose and millsap would get vetoed. With rose's play, I do not find it crazy if you pair him with a scrub or bench player and ask for a 1st or 2nd rounder. With that said, see if the pau gasol owner would be interested, al horford would be good as well.

Millsap for Rose should not be vetoed. Millsap is outperforming Rose in 9cat considerably right now.

Yea. Just from name recognition though you can try throwing in another guy for you to receive. Not a high pick but a serviceable player that helps you out.

that is exactly why it would get vetoed. Rose has a name making a trade for millsap straight up likely to get vetoed hence why i suggested getting a little more as well. Regardless, rose can't sustain this pace of play and stats once boozer comes back so if you want to get millsap and someone else, for him, unload away

If I played in a league where a trade like Rose for Millsap got vetoed, I would drop out and never play in that league again. I hate vetoes like that, what's the point of playing if you can't make trades? Were not playing to tie...We want to win a trade at some point.

Do what you think is the best fit for your squad.

Honestly, even for what you want on your team, you could milk a similar but better player out of another opponent for Rose.
