QUICK HELP: LBJ and JR SMITH for GWALL, J.GREEN AND D.WRIGHT

Post#1 » by jdubb_00 » Tue Nov 16, 2010 4:02 am

(H2H, 12 teams, 9 stand cats)

He is offering LBJ and JR Smith for my Gerald Wallace, Jeff Green and Dorell Wright. My team is doing alright in the first three weeks but getting LBJ now just seems right! Is he selling low or is this only what LBJ is capable of? D. Wright won't continue the scoring (maybe the steals and blocks) and G.Wall could get hurt. I am on the fence. My boards are awful and getting LBJ would help assists and scoring! What are your thoughts?

Please!

My team is:
PG Derrick Rose (Chi - PG)
SG Kevin Martin (Hou - SG)
G Chris Paul (NO - PG)
SF Jeff Green (OKC - SF,PF)
PF Gerald Wallace (Cha - SF,PF)
F Shawn Marion (Dal - SF,PF)
C Ronny Turiaf (NY - PF,C)INJ
C Tyson Chandler (Dal - C)
Util Dorell Wright (GS - SG,SF)
Util Daniel Gibson (Cle - PG,SG)
BN Manu Ginobili (SA - SG)
BN Andrea Bargnani (Tor - PF,C)
BN Carlos Boozer (Chi - PF,C)INJ

I rather keep Gerald Wallace and the rest.

JR.Smith is purely a FA to me at this point.. you are giving too much for LBJ.

You have CP3 and ROSE, basically you don't need any AST and what you need is some rebounds... Bargnani isn't doing well in grabbing boards and Boozer is out...
G.Wallace and Jeff Green will get you more rebounds than LBJ..
yes, Dorell Wright wont keep hitting 3s but he will give you decent rebounds and assists, plus some stl and blks.

keep G WALLACE, JEFF GREEN AND DORELL WRIGHT pal !

I went with the StarKiller...I accepted! I know what your saying slim but until I can actually compete in rebounds, I'm going to kill the category! When Boozer comes back, maybe then I'll get more boards, but till then, LBJ and CP3 it is! (my thoughts at least)

Anytime you can get 1st round talent w/out giving up 1st round talent you gotta take it. You have two 1st round talents in LBJ and CP3, with K-Mart, Rose, and Manu playing like 2nd rounders. When Boozer comes back you'll be fine in board w/ Bargs and and Turiaf, as CP3 and LBJ will help contribute. Remember, if Melo get's shipped out during the year, JR Smith's role will get much bigger.

That's exactly what I thought "StarKilla"! Your paragraph states my thought process! Always take the BPA and the 2nd and 3rd overall pick pairing would be IMPOSSIBLE predraft, now I did it! Also, I hope KMart, Rose and Manu keep playing like this; I'm trying to move Martin before he gets hurt for KLove now. It would be a great pairing with Booze when he comes back!

On an other note, you think Melo gets traded?

Thanks!

Martin for Love would be a great move. Help w/ boards, won't do much for blocks, but still good.

I'm not sure about Melo, I'm from Indiana so don't get much west coast news out here. Haven't read much. I think it will come down to if Denver is in a good position for the playoffs.
