Just because someone is on a hot-streak lets say delfino does NOT make them anywhere close to as valuable as lets say butler, who is a consistent threat. Butler is injured but as the season goes along he will stay consistent 15 ppg 5 boards couple assists and like 1.7 STEALS on good %. thats what makes him so valuable.
This is where watching basketball and not being a boxscore watcher helps. Caron Butler is the odd man out in Dallas. When Beaubois comes back it will be his - not Terry's - value that is cut in to.
Delfino is just continuing how he played the last 30-40 games of the 2009-2010 season. The
first part of last year was just a readjustment period for Delfino as he had played overseas the previous year, he was getting to know his teammates, and he had to win over Scott Skiles.
With that being said if you want to rely strictly on stats, throw out rebounds and assists when comparing Butler and Delfino because it's a complete wash.
It's comical to pretend like Caron Butler is close to a Top 20 player under any valuation system (). This isn't 2006-2007 anymore.
And as for Beno and billups... are you F***ing kidding? yes i have beno on my team as well hes a decent late round pickup but to compare him to billups is asinine. billups is shooting like 30% and he is a career 40+ % shooter. His shots will come around. Come crunch time he will easily be hitting two threes a game. Not to mention one of the BEST ft shooters in the league.
You know what... I oversold Beno. But depending on team composition he is arguably playing better than Billups RIGHT NOW, and that's all I was getting at. Obviously long-term I'd rather have Billups hence why I accepted the trade offer.
And for or the sake of accuracy... Billups is 41.6% shooter he's a net negative on your FG% regardless of whether hes shooting well or not.
Note how Beno is coming off the bench? that lowers his fantasy value...
It's not a permanent move nor is it anything to be worried about. Google "Paul Westphal + rotation".
Judging by your trade, and reaction to it getting vetoed, you have no concept of value when it comes to players. If i were you just keep sending the horribly one sided trades and wait for some counter offers.
Coming from someone who claimed Caron Butler has / will have almost close to top 20 value this year, I don't know whether I should laugh or be concerned
