Someone just offer me John Wall for Stephen Curry, so I am wondering should I accept this trade and hope Wall comes back next week?

What type of league? H2H or Roto? From a H2H perspective, any extra points for dub-dubs or trip-dubs? The Wizards said it wasn't a tendon issue for Wall, merely a bone bruise. That's a big sigh of relief because a bruise can heal over time... A tendon issue can last for a career. If you can afford to bench Wall for a week or two (got a feeling we're not seeing him until the first week of January), roll with it. Curry is still pretty inconsistent (even with his big games). Curry isn't even the #1 option on his roster. Wall though constantly has the rock in his hands and is either scoring or dishing at an unbelievable rate for a rook. I would grab Wall up and take a chance that he continues to produce at his current rate of production when healthy (about 38 fantasy points a game in my league). To give you perspective, Kevin Love is averaging about 52 fantasy points a game and is the #1 scorer in our league. Chris Paul is averaging around 43 fantasy points a game.

please don't take advice from that other poster, wall's injury is more serious than he is letting on, if he comes back by next week, they will have rushed him. Wall can do great things on the court...when he is on it. Curry is no model of an iron man himself but is less injury prone than wall and has more consistency and bigger games than wall. Wall, after he deals with his injuries, will most likely hit a rookie wall, paired with the fact that since the wizards are trying to rush him, he won't be 100%. I would take curry everyday over wall and never look back, and if you want to win your leagues, i suggest you do the same

Hey YanksKnicks101... I'm currently 8-0 in my H2H, steamrolling opponents that have been playing in this league for a decade plus now. In my opinion, Wall is worth holding onto. He did indicate he does not receive extra points for dub-dubs nor trip-dubs, which does change the dynamic in scoring drastically. Based on my take of how his scoring system is set up, Curry would be the better pick up.

In my league, Wall is the better pick up. Here's our scoring system below:

Scoring for Categories

3PT - Three Pointers Made 1 point
AST - Assists 1.5 points
BK - Blocks 2 points
DD - Double Doubles 10 points
MFG - Missed Field Goals -.5 points
MFT - Missed Free Throws -.5 points
PTS - Points 1 point
ST - Steals 2 points
TD - Triple Doubles 20 points
TO - Turnovers -1 point
TRB - Total Rebounds 1.5 points

Stephen Curry averages 33.38 fantasy points a night. John Wall averages 38.97 points a night.

Wall has already missed a week with the bone bruise. I stated he won't be back until at least the first week of January... he's already been down about 10 days... that's three weeks off for a bone bruise. I played wide receiver in college and had a similar type injury the last week before our season opener. I missed the first two games and then was back on the field by the third game. Approximately four weeks in total. Granted we don't have the same top notch facilities to recover in... but I wouldn't push this injury out further than the first week of January. If he hasn't suited up by January 15th, I would seriously wonder about the accuracy of the prognosis.

Here's Wall's stats:

G MIN FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OFF DEF TOT STL BLK TO PF AST PTS
Season 15 38.1 87-214 .407 14-42 .333 63-77 .818 0.1 3.4 3.5 2.33 .47 3.53 2.67 8.9 16.7

Here's Curry's stats:

G MIN FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% FTM-A FT% OFF DEF TOT STL BLK TO PF AST PTS
Season 20 33.7 149-305 .489 34-78 .436 70-77 .909 0.5 2.9 3.3 2.15 .35 3.20 3.75 5.6 20.1
