Channing Frye available - do I drop Boozer?

Frye has been the better producer all year and he might come back Friday. Boozer will probably also come back Friday. The thing is, if I drop Boozer someone will almost definitely pick him up, so I need to be sure about this.

Boozer had a rough stretch last month, does he usually pick it up at the end of the season?

Problem is that Frye is coming back from a shoulder dislocation which leaves him open to a relapse. It's a tough injury to trust that he would come back 100% for the rest of the season. I wouldn't be sure about doing this. I would factor in your team needs too. It this is h2h, I'd lean more to the player that boosts your teams strengths.

Boozer will pick it up. It's a push for the first seed in the east, and the bulls will go hard until the end. Frye's shoulder is bothersome for me, I don't want it to bother his production

I actually faced this exact quandry and decided to drop Frye for Boozer. The reason I did this is that no matter how you look at it, Frye's #'s have been better than Boozer's this year. Yes, Boozer scores more and rebounds on average... but Frye is an elite 3pt shooter from a PF/C spot, his FT% is better, his blocks are much better and he doesn't turn the ball over anywhere near Boozer's level.

It was very hard for me to drop Boozer because I know he'll be back soon but I think at this point in the season... Frye's 2+ 3pt/game and his increased block production allowed me to to sacrifice Boozer's scoring/rebounding (as that's honestly all he really provides. I think Frye is the better all around player and he should greatly help me more seriously compete on 3pt made.

Just know that Boozer WILL be picked-up if you drop him. I heard a few people be concerned about Frye's shoulder but I'm more concerned about Boozer's still-ailing ankle. That's a lot easier to retweak and the Bulls have several good big men (Noah, Gibson, Asik) and they are on top of the East so no huge rush to get him back. I strongly feel that Frye will finish the season out stronger than Boozer (if you need the stats Frye provides).

If it's not too late....keep Boozer. As of today...the Bulls have a very favorable schedule for the remaining season. They play on several key dates that other Teams don't play.
