I'm gonna closely ranked players that we may all need to chose between in our drafts, rank which you think will be best and state why you think so: (feel free to post your own as well)

Love vs. P. Gasol

Gay vs. Gordon

Lowry vs. Holiday vs. Felton vs. Lawson

McGee vs. Ibaka vs. Gortat

Scola vs. Cousins

Hibbert Vs. M. Gasol vs. Greg Monroe

assuming 9cat:

gasol or love: flip a coin. i love both. i love love a little more. doesn't matter who you choose.

gay vs gordon: neither. they go too early for me to consider. in a vacuum gordon. i'm just not a fan of gay's game. gordon played through injuries -- not just to himself but to his supporting cast -- and still took a major step forward. he's a shooter who gets to the line. gay's more of a slasher, and i wanna see if he can keep that 3-pt percentage up.

lowry vs holiday v lawson:

i'd pick lawon/holiday over lowry because i think they're much more talented. holiday really broke out last year and is only 21, but i'd be wary about projecting more improvement. young players don't always improve linearly. i'd like to see him get to the line more but i think he's a lock to at least repeat last year. biggest downside is that he may not have the ball in his hands as much as other elite/potentially elite PGs because of spacing issues and the presence of iggy/turner.

lawson may have the most upside because he's on a run-and-gun team. the problem is andre miller. lawson's mpg may be capped at 33 as a result.

i like lowry IRL but that major boost in 3pt% is sketchy. it's not a fluke because he shot a ton of them, but as you can see from, say, kevin durant, percentages can fluctuate.

i don't think much of felton and he's below those three. portland's pace is too damn slow and there are too many other options.

mcgee v iblaka v gortat:

again it all comes down to value, which is why it would've been nice if you posted ADP besides these guys. i didn't dig mcgee last year because i thought he would foul too much, but he did a good job cutting back on them and should improve a little bit more this year too. major love for him this year. gortat is a monster who should be one of the best values of the season. how can he not get 35mpg? i see boozer in cle numbers. iblaka is my dude but he fouls a wee too much. he has the best work ethic by FAR of any of these guys though so his upside is the highest (but gortat has a much better chance of reaching his upside this year). his buzz has risen too high though so he may be that stereotypical "so sleeper he's overrated" dude, but only marginally.

cant go wrong w/ any of them, but gortat is the clear winner because he doesnt have foul problems, plays w/ steve nash and will be a featured weapon on a team on fringe playoff contention.

scola vs cousins:

scola's terrible. avoid avoid avoid. cousins is alright, but is likely victim of the "so sleeper he's overrated" phenomenon.

hibbert/gasol/monroe:

monroe is that dude. one of the best values of the year. marc gasol is prob mad overrated. center is deep. i like hibbert and he has massive, top-25 upside.
