First time in H2H, 10 team league. Standard scoring with following position format:
'PG,PG,SG,SG,G,SF,SF,PF,PF,F,C,C,Util,Util,BN,BN,BN,BN'

I only realized I should have punted a category because of Howard FT% after the draft. Took a chance on W. Chandler although it doesn't look like he'll be coming back now with K-Mart having to sit in China even with his buyout.

(9) Dwight Howard (Orl - C)
(12) Pau Gasol (LAL - PF,C)
(29) Gerald Wallace (Por - SF,PF)
(32) Dorell Wright (GS - SG,SF)
(49) Kyle Lowry (Hou - PG)
(52) Tyreke Evans (Sac - PG,SG)
(69) Danilo Gallinari (Den - SF)
(72) Andrea Bargnani (Tor - PF,C)
(89) Darren Collison (Ind - PG)
(92) Jared Dudley (Pho - SG,SF)
(109) Paul George (Ind - SG,SF)
(112) Wilson Chandler (Den - SG,SF)
(129) Austin Daye (Det - SF,PF)
(132) Tyrus Thomas (Cha - PF,C)
(149) Tristan Thompson (Cle - PF)
(152) Tyler Hansbrough (Ind - PF)
(169) Evan Turner (Phi - SG,SF)
(172) Brandon Knight (Det - PG,SG)

Top FAs: Louis Williams ,Kenneth Faried ,Glen Davis ,Daniel Gibson ,Beno Udrih ,Shawne Williams ,Mario Chalmers ,Gordon Hayward ,Chris Andersen ,Marvin Williams ,Kirk Hinrich ,Delonte West ,Patrick Patterson ,Francisco Garcia ,Jordan Hill,

Also, looking at acquring Rondo as a complement to Howard. Team with Rondo is stacked with PGs so looking to offer Gasol/Collision for Rondo/T. Chandler or Gasol/Thompson for Rondo/Haywood.

Thanks Apathy, the Wallace pick really confused me. I was going off of yahoo rankings with that one (could've taken rondo or randolph) but yahoo had Wallace o-rank at like 24 (my pick was 26) with rondo and randolph both ranked in the high 20 early 30s.

Rotoworld has wallace ranked like 50 or 60. His only saving grace is I believe he was ranked 10 overall for the last 6 weeks of the 2010-2011 season. i hate him too though lol.

Looking for a rating/advice. 10 team roto.
1.(5) Dwight Howard
2. (16) Eric Gordon
3. (25) Rudy Gay
4. (36) Jrue Holiday
5. (45) Brook Lopez
6. (56) Jason Kidd
7. (65) Greg Monroe
8. (76) Danilo Gallinari
9. (85) Jarrett Jack
10. (96) Marcus Thornton
11. (105) Antawn Jamison
12. (116) Anthony Morrow
13. (125) Ben Gordon

Should I try and turn Dwight into 2 bigs? Would I be ok just picking up a player like Perkins or Haywood to help with the rebounding?

4. (32) Andre Iguodala

This is my second time ever doing fantasy. My first time was last season, and I ended up taking first. But this time, I dunno, something about my team I'm not liking. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Antawn Jamison was a mistake. I ran out of time...

GUYS STOP SAYING "STANDARD," STANDARD CAN MEAN 8 CAT OR 9. SPECIFY HOW MANY CATEGORIES

i have howard ranked like 20th because i don't punt a category. your team can be and should be good enough to win them all.

im just gonna comment on your picks wrt value cuz obv d-ho **** up the flexibility of your team.

wallace/wright meh, lowry good, evans right where he should go, gallo good, barf on bargs, collison is a retread. chandler/daye/tristan/hansbrough bad. everyone else good to really good. drop that quartet.

add jermaine o'neal, glen davis, james johnson, and robin lopez (gortat just broke his thumb). if one of those is gone add matt barnes or josh childress (in that order).

DO NOT TRADE GASOL IF YOUR LEAGUE USES TOS, HE IS TOP 5 IN THAT FORMAT AND VASTLY UNDERRATED

id honestly try to trade d-ho/wright/bargs for pennies on the dollar because the rest of your team has a **** of upside. then again w/ wallace, d-ho, evans, wright you can punt FT%. but youd have to trade gallo, bargs.

good job rotoworld. espn overrates wallace too. i've got wallace ~55. based on preseason id bump that up to 45-50. he's boom or bust though: if he stays healthy he'll prob be top 25. he's got too many variables for me to mess with though.

sick reach for ibaka, who i have ranked like 35th. his upside is overrated in some circles. i think he has superstar potential but westbrook/durant are major usage whores. i think he could be a post-hype sleeper next year.

basically you overdrafted everyone except deandre jordan and deron williams. you're middle-of-the-pack, a team without an identity

your first 3 picks were brutal. your next 5 were phenomenal. interesting.

i think d-ho is extremely hard to trade and get anywhere near decent value. easier option may be to punt FT, trade gordon/gay, wait for gallo/lopez to nut over the league and ship them a month from now, and drop morrow/gordon for upside. e-mail everyone in your league to gauge interest for d-ho, you don't have much time. since this is roto DON'T play everyone at once. you have 66 games and you don't have to use them all at once. get your team an identity first and bench the lower-end guys until you find that identity.

@ortho:

awkward team. bargs needs to go. what a fantasy cancer he is. rip/craw need to be dropped, maybe more depending on FA.

@fast:

your team is middle of the pack because you didnt get great value on anyone on draft day. picking thornton/jamison/beasley in succession was terrible because it was an overload on points / one-dimensional guys. drop brown, trade beasley (a lot of people like him, dunno why)... if your WW is loaded you need to start proposnig lopsided 2-for-1s.

@meat:

good team. absurd steal in pierce, who i rank top 20 and the 2nd best SG/SF i believe (in TO leagues). trade gay. post your WW. start proposing 2-for-1s.

Quick question, what do the terms like "H2H" or "ROTO" mean? First time fantasy and don't even know how people got their rosters. Did you guys just copy paste from a page? The Yahoo one is confusing.

everyone else should be fair game because your team has awful flexibility.

who to acquire: flexibility. names like lamar odom (most undervalued player in fantasy), brand, j-kidd, nash, brandon knight, nene, boozer, ak-47 (high risk high reward, if he signs with NJN top-50 value), diaw, afflalo, bosh, landry, lowry, billups, kg, duncan

i feel like you're lacking big men. Bogut's good, but hasn't been the same since his injury and duncan will always produce but who knows how the shortened season will affect him? I like Nene, Ed Davis, and Favors but they could all go either way. Hopefully Davis and Favors live up to their potential because that will provide a lot of depth for you. I would drop Marvin Williams for someone though. If Faried is available get him, but Williams truly doesn't add anything other than points and he's not even good at doing that.

10 man espn h2h

9th pick

9 Russell Westbrook, OKC PG
12 Amare Stoudemire, NY C
29 Danny Granger, Ind SF
32 Tyreke Evans, Sac PG
49 Serge Ibaka, OKC C
52 Roy Hibbert, Ind C
69 JaVale McGee, Wsh C
72 DeMar DeRozan, Tor SG
89 Jose Calderon, Tor PG
92 Ed Davis, Tor PF
109 Jeff Teague, Atl PG
112 Jarrett Jack, Nor PG
129 Derrick Favors, Uta PF

I feel like I have a lot of guys who can bust. I might try flipping Granger and someone (maybe derozan) for Zach Randolph and then try to trade for LeBron with a trade centered around Amare. I feel like most of my guys are really iffy. Hibbert could either be really good or he might have a miserable year so I might wanna move him before he starts sucking. I'm also thinking about dropping someone for Faried. thoughts?

Good team, but i would drop McGrady for a big man. T-Mac isnt playing much and u only have 4(5 if u count Josh Smith) bigs in the roster

that late in the draft, i hope one of Glen Davis, Jermaine O'Neal or Favors is avaiable.

Keep a potential sleeper in ur roster will keep u excited, too
