Good team. Paul/Love gives you a shot at the title. Missing on Hibbert hurts. In an 8-teamer he's drop worthy right about now.

Meh. LeBron's so broken. That alone makes your team competitive. You have too many swingmen/mediocre PFs. This is why getting good bigs is so important; you're stuck with middling, potentially open sores (in a shallow league, anyway) like Thompson, Lee, Young, etc. I mean, they're solid-ish guys, but they don't put you over the top. Faried's nice, though. Your roster has no truly weak spots aside from maybe Collison, which means this probably isn't your first rodeo.

Def don't think it's time to pick up Rose. It's still very early, and there's no guarantee he returns. What if the Bulls are .500 or less and the Bulls decide it's safer to keep Rose out til next year? What if Rose returns but only averages, say, 18/6 with terrible FG% and a lot of TOs due to rust/returning a lil too early?

Your team's good if Hibbert picks it up. I wouldn't hold your breath, though. Westbrook, Anthony, Anderson is a strong core -- that's three 1st roundish picks. Get a little lucky / more skillful with the back end of your roster, though. That hurts big time in H2H. Start spot starting like a whore.

Trade George Hill. Loved him on Spurs but he got overrated really quickly.

Hill + Pekovic for upgrade. Doesn't really matter where at this point in the season.

The biggest weakness of your roster is you have a bunch of all-around guys. That's great in general, but kills in roto. It's slightly less valuable in H2H, and can cause a lot of variance.

I get the feeling a lot of intriguing names are on the WW...

Ya looking for a 2 for 1 in general, not really because of the wire, I just want a streaming spot. The Lopez spot might turn into one in a week though. Wire is pretty thin right now. Best guys on the wire are Wright, Delfino, Foye, Jack, and Okafor so not really an option.

Curious as to why you think Hill is overrated? Do you think he's going to fall off? I'm looking at his numbers right now and I don't really see what's going to fall. His steals actually look a little low.

It's very common for a guard, when they go into a full-time starter's job, to lose a lot off their steals rate. Devin Harris is the first one who comes to mind, but I could name a good half dozen.

Hill's just not that talented. He's a weak 3rd guard but he's overmatched when consistently trying to create for himself/others. Most importantly I think he is highly thought of in many people's minds, so his trade value is pretty high.

@blaze, don't punt blocks, just trade one of your bigs for more blocks. I'd get Foye for 3s.

So should I pick up jermaine o'neal, jason maxiell or Aminu? I can drop Novak I guess.. I doubt my league will trade.. only 1 trade and it was my kmart for oj mayo and boozer. I think i won the trade..

Looking at your roster I feel like you need Novak's 3s. If you don't, it doesn't really matter who you grab. I guess Aminu.

Your PGs are terrible. Never own Monta Ellis again. Too bad Gallo's flopped. I was all over him for many years, but this year it's become obvious to even me he's just not that good. (Yet somehow it's not become obvious to Karl, who tries to play him at PF!) And who in the world was your 1st-round pick? I'd be shocked if you finished anywhere near the top 3. Sorry to sound so harsh. =/

Hey what's happenin, new to the forum, but been doing fantasy bball for 8 years. I'm looking for some feedback on my big money team this year. I felt great about my draft and have made a decent amount of moves so far but it has not been working out. I'm currently 7th out of 12 in a standard 9 cat league, and losing at the moment this week. Kid went absolutely beserk Wed night to the tune of 53+ 93+ %s, 20 threes, 163 points, 40 assists, 16 steals and 10 TOs. Been losing categories by 2 to 3 stats which is unfortunate but I've only had one 5-4 win, and 1 tie. The rest losses. I don't know if I'm missing something here. Any advice/help/constructive criticism would be awesome. Thanks, here's my team:

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Raymond Felton
G: Jrue Holiday
SF: DeMar Derozan
PF: Zach Randolph
F: Paul Millsap
C: Joakim Noah
Ut: Mo Williams
BN: Gerald Henderson
BN: Kevin Seraphin
BN: Patrick Patterson
BN: Carl Landry
BN: Steve Novak

Mid-week last week I traded Omer Asik and Andre Iguodala for Jrue Holiday and DeMar Derozan so they haven't had much time to take effect. Regardless, I'm losing again.

Zomg you have no PGs. I'd start shopping Kobe and DeRozan. This team has potential but needs some shrewd management to reach its potential.

Strong PGs. Strong bigs. The problem is the back end of your roster. Depth is super important in H2H and yours is terrible. You don't have any obvious guys to trade, though. I think Noah, Millsap, Williams and Paul are, in general, must-keep guys. That trade was fairly good for you, even though you had to stomach acquiring DeRozan.

I'd say stream a lot. And just be shrewd on the WW / in trades. I feel like Randolph in general is slightly overvalued, so maybe test his market value. Keep searching for long-term spots in the Henderson/Seraphin/Patterson/Landry/Novak spots. Novak works well for your team all things considered. I'd shop Randolph and DeRozan for a SG/SF who gets 3s (Gallo), so you can drop Novak, and just searching for value elsewhere.

Lin, Ilya, Bargs, Lawson are destroying your team. Of the four I liked Lin/Lawson a lot going into the season, so whaddya gonna do. I still believe in Lawson; his underperformance is just inexplicable. It could end up being one of those years, but you simply can't find a suitable replacement for what we thought we were getting from him (strong No. 2 PG), so you just gotta ride or die with him.

Lin? Ugh. Pretty much the same situation.

Bargs always sucks and was a terrible pick from the start. Ilyasova I was not a fan of, but he's been picking it up recently so hopefully he ends up salvageable.

LeBron gives you some kind of hope but honestly, you're gonna need to rip people off in trades. This is one of the only times I'd suggest putting LeBron on the market. Hell, I'd put your whole team on the market. You're gonna have to get creative. Who's on FA?
