Bynum for Nash

Post#1 » by Spicy P » Sat Jan 21, 2012 1:08 am

I'm the one trading away Nash and getting Bynum. It's a 10 person Rotisserie league. I'm already #1 in assists by a huge margin so I don't really need Nash's assists that badly. I'm 3rd last in rebounds and starting to slip from 2nd in blocks because of some injuries and I dropped my best shot blocker for another player. Do I pull the trigger?

He said he'd do a Nash + Griffin for Bynum + Joe Johnson. What do you think?

Pass. Bynum has better value than Nash. Joe Johnson, last 14 days, playing better than Griffin. Value wise, the trade is not a good trade for you. If you want to trade Bynum for a PG, target guys like Jrue, Conley or Wall.

Sorry, I thought you're the one trading Bynum for Nash.

Yes, do the deal. Bynum is better than Nash. Joe Johnson is lately playing better. Griffin is overrated. Team needs, you don't need assists.

Could someone give me a 2nd opinion before I pull the trigger? Seems like a lose a ton of assists while only gaining a block in this trade.

To give you a better persective, Joe Johnson is the top 11 fantasy player in the last two weeks. Yes, you lose about 4-5 apg. But you need to consider the rebounds, blocks and points stats you're getting with the package of Bynum and Joe Johnson.

Your team looks eerily familiar to mine. I also have Griffin, Ellis, and Nash and I'd trade Nash for Bynum in a second. I'd also trade Griffin for a top 30 player if I had a chance because he's been absolutely killing me in FT%.

this is close

if it fits your needs do it without a second look

nash is gold but griffin is a massive cancer you need to get rid of

bynum is a huge risk but you're not winning w/ griffin on your roster

slight to major upgrade depending on your team needs (too lazy to analyze em)
