Who would you drop?

Post#1 » by supermario » Thu Feb 16, 2012 4:36 pm

Guards:Irving/Nick Young/ Westbrook/ Pierce
Fowards: Hedo/Batum/Diaw/ KG
Centers: Bosh/Brand/Marc Gasol/Chandler

I have to drop someone for Melo who is on my IR. Who would you suggest Diaw or Batum possibly? I'm somewhat tanking TO's because everyone on my team is a TO machine so I like the production Hedo gives me. Is That a bad idea?

Thanks Apathy! You should be a mod on this board you help everyone. Anything special you would do if this was your roster?

I'd drop Hedo or Diaw before Batum. Diaw first. Batum's finally got a starting spot and he's had a sneaky good year. He's a legit 1-1-1 guy with real nice upside. I love the guy. 31st overall this year in 9 cat (62 in 8) so he's been real solid despite his playing time being yanked around.

Agreed. I've had Batum all season and he's rarely dissapointed. Now that he's starting, his productions been even more consistent.

Before dropping him I'd at least try to package him in a 2 for 1.

i picked batum precisely because he's tanking in TOs, which is batum's best category. he is having a great month tho and definitely possesses more trade value than boris diaw, who is generally hated. i also think you really need diaw/turkeyglue's assists, because you only have 2 PGs. w/ pierce/diaw/turkey you should still be first or second in your league, but lose any one of them and you could drop very quickly

your roster is really good. you must be in first or second place. this is a real tough decision because all of your players chip in w/ valuable roles for your team. doing a 2-for-1 is your best option but you dont have players other guys generally want to acquire. nor do you have any overachievers aside from marc gasol. pierce, gasol, irving + someone for a stud.

garnett gets great assists for a big man so i change my mind and would drop diaw over batum. if you wanted to you could become really strong in TOs with just a trade or two.
