Kevin Love for Josh Smith and Roy Hibbert?

10 person H2H league.

Currently my team is

Westbrook
Tony Parker
Greivis Vasquez
Isaiah Thomas
Manu Ginobili
Wesley Matthews
JR Smith
Caron Butler
Landry Fields
Kevin Love
Andrew Bynum
Javale McGee
Andrea Bargnani

I am in 9th place due to a slew of injuries (Eric Gordon, Bargs, Varejao, Ginobili) but only 3 games out of 2nd place--so the stands are tight. Do I pull this trade? I know Kevin Love is a top 3 fantasy player but this gives me a huge boost in blocks and a good boost in steals and doesn't hurt my rebounds or points...

Thoughts?

Agreed, bad trade.

Love is type of player that should yield two top 15-20 type players not one top 25 and one top 60ish player.

You would need to be getting more value for it to worth while. Like you said Love is a top 3 player. It would be better to use Love + another good player to get Lebron/Durant IMO.

to put it simply, trading a top 3-5 player in fantasy basketball (just like real basketball) is almost always an awful, awful deal for whoever's trading them away and a great deal for whoever's getting them

OK year after re-evaluating I agree it would be stupid to give up Love while not receiving at least one Top-10 talent player back in return.

Next question: Do I consider trying to acquire Josh Smith by offering a package with the main piece being Andrew Bynum? Does the other manager even consider it?

He'll consider it for sure. They've basically been equal for the year. Smith has been better lately though.

If he needs what Bynum brings its a feasible 1 for 1.
