End of the year moves

Hey guys,

So far in my first fantasy basketball experience my team is doing pretty well. I am in a 10 team head to head league and am in first place with a 9 game lead. This is a 11 category league which are: FGM FG% FTM FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK.

Currently my roster is:

Deron Williams
(NJ - PG)
Paul George
(Ind - SG,SF)
Russell Westbrook
(OKC - PG)
Wesley Matthews
(Por - SG,SF)
Ryan Anderson
(Orl - PF,C)
JaVale McGee
(Was - PF,C)
Serge Ibaka
(OKC - PF,C)
Greg Monroe
(Det - C)
Rudy Gay
(Mem - SF,PF)
Luke Ridnour
(Min - PG,SG)
Jason Terry
(Dal - PG,SG)
James Johnson
(Tor - SF,PF)
Ty Lawson
(Den - PG)
Bismack Biyombo
(Cha - PF,C)

I think I am pretty set and don’t feel any trades are necessary. The players I am on the fence about are Ridnour and Biyombo, James Johnson to a lesser extent.

With Ramon Sessions going to the Lakers he could be a good pick up but Ridnour no longer has Rubio playing. Which one of these two do you think will be the better player going forward? I am also thinking of Klay Thompson since Ellis got traded and he had a great game the other day.

Maybe I could replace Biyombo as I already have McGee and Ibaka, I do like how he is getting 30 minutes a game though. Some of the top guys available on the wire are: Ramon Sessions, Klay Thompson, Jason Kidd, Stephen Jackson, Jameer Nelson, Michael Beasley, Derrick Williams, Ben Gordon, George Hill, Chandler Parsons, Alonzo Gee, Kawhi Leonard, Jerryd Bayless, Gerald Green, Tiago Splitter, Brandon Bass and MarShon Brooks

What do you guys think of my squad as of now? I am leaning to swap Ridnour for Sessions, and maybe Biyombo for Derrick Williams. Any input going forward would be appreciated.

EDIT: It turns out Sessions was just picked up so that option is out. I think Luke will be pretty productive for the rest of the year so I am OK with that. The question now is do I swap Biyombo for Klay or a different big? I am planning on hanging on to everyone else on my squad form here on out unless someone is injured. I was thinking of dropping James Johnson or Wes Matthews. With the Wallace trade I am going to hang on to Matthews for sure now.

ridnour should be > than sessions

kobe ball hogs too much for sessions to live up to his promise

id def grab klay thompson over matthews

matthews will regress to the mean in a positive way but thompson has top 50 potential. frye was top 50 when he was draining 3s and little else a few years ago. thompson is the SG version.

your team is well constructed, u should win ez (But H2H is a joke so who knows)

id trade iblaka before dumping biyombo.

alonzo gee sticks out of the FAs u mentioned. bass too. i think theyre close to terry and james johnson. johnson is replaceable cuz u don't need his blocks.

Thanks for the input. I am thinking to swap Johnson for Thompson then. I think Matthews will produce like he did over the first two months which is more than what Johnson would give me. He does a little of everything though, it will be a little hard to let him go but that is the case for my whole roster at this point. After a couple weeks if Matthews not producing I will look to drop him then.

what about bass? he's putting up 13/6/1 on good percentages, locked into a starting gig.

if klay thompson works out (which i think he will, but i may be jumping the gun) you won't need 3s anymore

That is a good thought; I had Bass until he got hurt before the ASG. The question now is do I want Thompson and Bass over Johnson and Matthews. I take it you think they are the most expendable players on my roster? Are you pretty high on Biyombo? He should get 30 plus minutes the rest of the way.
