Fantasy draft pick trade advice

Post#1 » by cable213 » Thu Oct 18, 2012 11:29 pm

Hi All

I need some advice here

should i trade my first round pick 4th and last pick for a 2nd round (23rd) and 3rd (26th) pick?

I was going to draft Kevin Love but since he got hurt i don't like this draft position anymore

this is assuming Lebron, KD and CP3 go in the first 3 pick

Thanks

Yup go for it. This is assuming that you don't want to pick up Kevin Love, your next available bets are:
Westbrook, A Bynum, Dwade, etc

The 23rd and 26th look like:
Cousins, Gay, Lowry, Iggy, Granger, Jennings, Batum, Dragic, Blake, Nash, Rondo, David Lee

Lets say we look at a worst case scenario for you:
Westbrook + Last Pick Filler (Steve Novak-ish) for David Lee and Nash

In a worst case scenario it doens't look so bad, now think best case scenario. is it worth it to you?

No, you can get more for the #4 than that.

I would trade down from 4th pick but not totally out of the first round.

Just keep the 4th, select the BPA... then see what offers come your way.

I'll probably going to keep the 4th pick and draft either CP3 or westbrook
Bynum and Wade are too injury prone

If I got to choose my drafting order between:

Round 1,2,3,4

vs

Round 2,2,3,3

I'd choose the latter. Especially since your 1st round pick is 4th overall. Anyways as long as you considered both sides of the argument, then happy drafting to you!
