definitely depends on team needs as the two players basically get you completely different stats.

I drafted Asik when Vasquez was still on the board. He is getting huge minutes for at C for Houston and his preseason results are just what I expect: he has dominated the glass, blocked shots, got around 8-10 points. Surprisingly he can pass the ball as well and will get assists too.

Vasquez on the other hand will get huge minutes at PG for New Orleans and he showed what he can do last year. He really has potential for 7 assists a game as well and he can score as well.

So really depends on your team, get Asik if you have other guys that can fill assists for you

Yea It really is a team needs type of thing. Id put Vasquez and Asik at similar rankings relative to their position. They both really help in some cats like Blocks, Rebs, Ast, but hurt you in others like TO, and FT%. So it really depends on how balanced your team is and what you can afford to lose or gain. If i had to make a pick though Id take Vasquez because the PG market is pretty thin after your main guys are off the board.

how are your players looking? Asik is going to give you 10+ rpg...but I feel like there's a lot of players that will give you big rebound numbers this year. Assist is lacking this year unlike last season.

This is my team its a 9 cat league.
I think my team will need rebounds more than assists since i have several quality pgs. Im just really high on Vasquez because of his stats last year when he was starting. But Omar haa been tearing up it in preseason in limited minutes. Plus im a die hard rockets fan.

Asik for sure. The man is going to have a breakout season. You're soild at the PG spot with holiday, teague and wall. Don't forget LBJ as well.
