OJ Mayo or JR Smith

I have the ability to acquire OJ Mayo or JR Smith for my 9 cat, h2h team. They both put up similar numbers playing the 6th man role for their respective teams last season and both have a shot at a starting role. I know JR Smith can get some steals but who would be a better pickup this season?

I'd take JR Smith. I think Mayo will put up nice stats, but not perse great fantasy stats. fg, to are a concern.
