Sounds like the guy really wants David Lee (I am assuming its not Courtney) from you. I personally like Monroe a lot and would be hesitant to trade him at this point. Great player on a bad team just filling up the stat sheet.
I definitely wouldnt do the second trade, as Harden is a top 10 fantasy player right now. Will he keep up the hot streak will remain to be seen but would keep him around.
