Add Patterson, Drop Thornton or Scola?

Post#1 » by bballcool34 » Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:48 am

I'm in a points league, Thornton is averaging around 18.5 fpoints, Patterson is at around 19.8 but going up, Scola is around 21.5 but going down.

Should I add Patterson and drop one of them? I am learning towards dropping Thornton but not sure. It could come back to bite me if Thornton returns to his level last season and if Scola starts getting minutes again.

I think Scola sucks. He's old, unathletic, very limited upside on a team going towards a youth movement. Patterson's pretty one-dimensional too but he at least has a modicum of upside. I'd take him and drop Scola.

Well, this isn't a keeper league and Scola was playing well, but yeah, you may be right. I also have the option to drop Billups, I feel like Patterson will get minutes and in a points league, all I need is production even if its one dimensional.
