Help With 2 For 1 Trades

First time playing and I've figured most things out but still a little unsure about 2 for 1 trades. I'd like to get another reliable contributor for two decent players (didn't draft well but have had effective signings) but I'm having trouble gauging how much two players are worth in comparison to one. Are there any good tools or methods for determining what type of player I should be targeting? For example, if I send someone two top-80 level players, what's a favorable return?

One is worth a lot more than two, especially in roto/if there are decent replacements on WW. The better the player the more you should be willing to overpay.

Focus on obtaining a player who's cat. isn't easily available in the WW or offer unique combo of stats. The idea is to overpay for one player with the thought that you can make up the statistical difference with help from the WW down the line at some point.
You have to take into consideration who your opponent is dropping. What does that dropable player offer to that team. Is he struggling, injured, potential hoarding or just a warm body on their roster.
Just like any trade try to sell high and buy low. Or maybe think of it in terms of draft picks. Would you trade your 7th and 8th rd pick to move up to get someone in the 5th rd. knowing that at some point you'll land someone worth 7-10th rd pick on the WW
