yahoo standard categories.

Both play same position so which is the more valuable player. If one is more then why?

I love this trade! A perfect example of a challenge trade.

I've always had a hard-on for Nene. But...

Okay, he's a bit of a girl. The injuries are only getting worse as he ages. Will he lose some quickness? If he does he's dunzo.

Also, WAS is one of the worst frontcourt situations in the L. Ugh...

This is tough. If I was in first or second place I'd keep Hickson. If I needed to take on extra risk, I'd grab Nene. But chances are I'd wait for a deal I felt more confident about.

I dunno.

As an owner of Hickson (a waiver pickup), I've never ever felt confident about his playing time. There's no doubt he's great at getting rebounds when he gets minutes but there were times when the coach would give him sub 26 minutes and he'd just throw up an absolute stinker. Then there were times where he'd get ~26 minutes and still contribute (to which minutes were still a worry). I already had a "heart attack risk" big in Vucevic (and other mid-tier guys like Hibbert and Pekovic) so I packaged Hickson and Ellis for Al Jefferson.

If they're getting equal minutes of course I'd say Nene but right now I'd still have to lean towards Hickson. Of course, there's always the situation to consider. Assuming Nene gets his minutes he'll in all likelihood score some more than Hickson, so if you need points and are solid in rebounds, Nene is your man, and vice-versa.

Well u didn't say roto or H2H

Nene is the better player but u have to be concerned about his health history.

Hickson only Rebs and gives low end pts and nothing else. But in H2H he has more value than roto

True, but you gotta remember, POR doesn't have a bench. One of the worst benches in the L. Only the Lakers are worse.
