Kawhi Leonard

How are people valuing him? I have him coming back soon and am uncertain whether to trade or not. Mins seem to fluctuate between 23-30.

Just can't get a grasp on him as a fantasy player. IRL, love him as a player, but just not sure right now.

i say hold him for now and see how he plays after a month of missing games. One thing that he may have to his advantage is that hes a young player on the spurs. Which means come towards the end of the season, he should be seeing heavier minutes when duncan, ginobli, parker etc gets dnp's

Yeah good advice, thanks. That is basically what I was thinking. He is useful in that he gives a well roudned stat line. Just a little put off by the inconsistency of mins and production, but you would think as he develops he is going to get more minutes anyway.

Oh I forgot to mention it is a keeper league. So if I can't decide he is worth of a keeper spot I should probably use him to upgrade for a more talented older player to make a push for the title this year (just went top after an 8-1 week)

I think ideally if I am trading him I should look to package him in a 2 for 1 to upgrade one of my other keepers.

Super useful, untouchable, glue guy, etc. I mean I dunno what to say. He's the subset of guy that is always most underrated in fantasy leagues, yet most useful in part because of that. He'll never get equal value in trades, but the astute owner loves his kind of contributions. Dropping him is out of the question; the Spurs like him as much as I do.

Oh don't worry dropping was never an option, just what type of value I should be placing on him for trades. Happy to keep him to be honest.

I see Leonard as a glue guy in a fantasy team.

He's a top 50-60 fantasy player who is not going to carry certain cats for you. But he's the type of player who you'd appreciate if you are not punting TOs, is low on steals per game, and is in need of some help in 3ppg. He's like the poor man's version of Jason Kidd in fantasy basketball this season.
