12 team league, 5 keepers, can trade picks, 7 categories (pts, rebs, assists, 3pts, steals, to, blk)
His team
C Varejaou, Favors
PF Love, Dirk, Ilisayova
SF Josh Smith, Kirilenko
SG Joe Johnson, Waiters
PG Collison, Lin, George Hill
My team
C Dwight, Pek,
PF Brow, Zbo, Horford, Drummond
SF Gay,Leonard
SG Reddick, JR Smith
PG Lillard, Parker
I know its me again trying to do a 2 for 1. Smith does so much but I want to do a trade with Gay as the center piece. Already tried Gay for Smoove straight up and obviously he rejected it immediately.
Would Gay/Horford for Smith be a good trade? Would I be giving up too much? With the free roster spot I would pick up Shved from wires. Thoughts?

Prob Dwight and Zbo. Don't know about Pek but I am trying to sell high on Pek and JR.
I was going to offer Dwight straight up. But if I can keep him I want to. What would you offer him?

ZBo and Gay
See if u can get Lin as a throw-in. I'd do it w/o him tho. Smith's top-12 in these settings.

H has 3 good PF's and unfortunately that is also your deepest position . Maybe he likes Pek because he plays with Love? In cases like this I would just ask him and see what he says. Sometimes it may surprise you

What do you think of Apathy's Gay/Zbo for Smith/Lin trade?

Most of the time you gotta give something to get something. Chances are if he owns Smith in these settings he knows Smith is quite valuable. If you're not prepared to give up 1st- or 2nd-round value for Smith you should keep it moving.
Frankly, as I've told you before, Pek sucks in these settings. He's ranked 131st per game and has no name value. Very little trade value there, esp since he hasn't played as well as he did last year. No perceived upside. You should hold onto JR Smith, dunno why you're so desperate to trade him. Right now he's super valuable in these settings (40th) and you won't get equal value, so just enjoy the ride.

I actually like your trade but I think that would be a final offer for him.
I tried Gay for Smith straight up which got rejected. I think I will tried Gay/Pek for Smith and see if he bites.
If he doesn't. Then Gay/Zbo for Smith/Lin would be really good. I can afford to lose rebounds. It would hurt me a bit in points though.

99% chance you get that rejected. You may say that doesn't matter, but I think you gotta be careful. I know I do not like people sending me terrible offers, and emotion plays a role in trade discussions. There's a chance he would accept Zbo/Gay for Lin/Smith if that was the first one you proposed, but would then decline it after you send him another stupid proposal, just out of spite.
If you're okay with Lin/Smith for Zbo/Gay, just offer it now. It annoys me when people try to rip someone off in every single proposal, and I doubt I'm the only one. Honesty and respect get more mileage than trying to be a grand theft roto thief all the time.
And frankly you come out way ahead in the hypothetical deal (Smith's 12th, Lin's 48th I believe; Zbo's 58th, Gay's 38th).
If he rejects it, then you know you're not getting Smith. Time to move on. Propose trades to someone else. Time is money, after all.
Bleh, and it's a keeper? That means the value of the best player is even higher. Okay, if he's even a decently shrewd owner there's no way you're getting Smith. (Also means you run more long-term risk pissing off a manager by offering **** proposals.) Sorry.

You are right. I offered him that deal. If he doesn't want to take it so be it. I think my team is getting pretty darn good.

Stand pat with Zbo and Gay

Just a random thought here but you are collecting a lot of potential Hawks here. If Dwight signs in the summer you have their entire front court on you roster. I don't like having that many players on one team but maybe that's me.
